Dundarave Fish Market No More - Now the Feast

It used to be so good, and no more. Prices jacked up, menu changed for worse, poorer wine selection. Luckily the Red Lion is next door.

Always a great place for an appetizer or meal- fresh and local seafood dishes. The staff are attentive and the space is intimate for a romantic meal or nice for a family lunch.

I visited Feast in August for lunch with four other people. We were disappointed to see that it was no longer the Dundarave Fish Market but were interested in trying Feast. I really liked the decor; however, it was very noisy. All five of us found it impossible to have a conversation and wished we'd sat on the patio. (As... More

Feast is in the old fish market restaurant. The room is very nice. The food is really very good. However the service is bad and slow. After asking questions about the beet and avocado fries we got a beet salad. We ordered a side of sautéed greens and never got them. All the dishes were very good except for the... More

After most of the summer under renovations, the location that was once the Fish Market, is now a restaurant called Feast with Chef Kayla Dhaliwhal. It's very good. Pricier than Dundarave Fish, but definitely worth a visit.

Dundarave Fish Market has closed. For all my complaints it was a great addition to the community and I'm sad to see it go. As of this writing, the place has its windows covered with Butcher paper and there's a sign saying that a new place, named "Feast" I think, is opening soon. But "soon" hasn't been all that soon... Reading these reviews, one can't help but wonder if the management or owners are writing them, as the same reviews word for word appear on various sites. I have dined ther many times under the pre 2010 ownership but since the new owners took over, whenever we dined there was never anyone around that resembled someone in charge! The service... More

In the midst of Dundarave, which is one block long, in West Vancouver, this is a jewel of a place for a lunch. My partner had the seafood chowder and salmon pasta - both looked delicious, so much so that I was not offered a taste ! I had the Canjun snapper "burger" (sandwich on a bun) with the house... More

We have been visiting this restaurant for several years and have always thought the food was wonderful. It must have changed owners because aside from a cheap reno and a hugely truncated menu, there is some rude sod acting as the manager and yelling abuse and profanity at the chef in front of the entire restaurant. My 70year old parents... More

These people know seafood. The menu pleases. You can take home fresh seafood from their deli counter too. Outdoor seating in the sunshine is a great meeting spot. Cozy but a great vibe!
