All the chain restaurants are the same - annoyingly loud music, dark, waitresses in demeaning black dresses, similar menus. This was our second and last visit, as the music was uncomfortably loud to the point that we asked several times for it to be turned down as we could not even have a conversation! Food was okay, but not memorable,... More

Cactus Club menu has really improved in the past couple of years. Earl's used to be the more upscale version of Cactus Club, and I now think it's the other way around.

Had lunch here on a beautiful hot day. Aside from my initial request for water, I never had to ask again. My glass was no sooner empty than the lovely server was there to refill it. I ordered the Raincoast Salad ( I think that's what it was called) it was so good, grilled chicken, really gorgeous avocado, fresh blueberries... More

Went to CC with the hubby as it's close home. Not much has changed, same bar and restaurant that you can find anywhere. Loud music, dark room, over-priced food and hot female severs in tight black clothing. The service is pretty basic, nothing special, just cute girls waiting for their well deserved tips. The food is a little overpriced but... More

Decided to drop in for a meal and much needed cocktail . I was pleasantly surprised. Haven't been here for quite a while. The food was delicious , and all the staff were extremely polite and accommodating. The only dilemma you might face is trying to decide what to order with so many yummy appetizers, salads and mains . My... More

I really like the Garden Burger. For a veggie burger, it's juicy and flavourful - I always have to ask for extra napkins it's so juicy! Yam fries are tasty but cut a bit thin for my preference. The big hit for me is the Peanut Butter Bar for dessert. A yummy combination of peanut butter and chocolate with a... More

We had an early dinner here on a Friday night. No lineup or wait, which was a nice change. Service was prompt and efficient, very friendly. Drinks were good - had some unusual martini choices which were excellent (Adrenaline) and they just can't improve on the Bellini! Was pleasantly surprised by the sliders - quality, taste etc. was much better... More

We have had lunch at the Cactus Club a few times now. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly, But, I always come away with the feeling that the food is just average for the price. Take the other day, for example. My wife had a tuna sandwich. She felt the tuna was undercooked and the top of... More

I like the decor which is typical of Cactus Club, they definitely know how to setup a nice atmostphere! The food was very good, and the staff was friendly as always! They have great fish, and the service is excellent! I hope to check this place out again when I visit Vancity!
