Unfortunately for visitors to Vancouver, dining at Mangia E Brevi means a drive over the often crowded Lions Gate Bridge. However, if on the north shore, a stop at this excellent Italian restaurant is very worthwhile. Service is good, atmosphere too, but a bit noisy later on weekends (we went early at 6:00PM) Food is excellent with good choices and... More

This restaurant has been around a while, which in Vancouver means that it must be pretty good. As the name implies, it is Italian, and the menu is designed like any good Italian restaurant. Excellent wine list and a range of very flavorful foods. It's well worth visiting if you are on the North Shore, although you might be distracted... More

For a special evening or just a break in a busy schedule, this restaurant offers everything. The pasta specials are a great deal and so yummy you just want to keep coming back.

Very nice restaurant. Great service. Food excellent. Pricey, but if you want good food and a nice atmosphere, you have to pay for it.

I'm sure it is great in summer, to sit outside but we had carpaccio to die for and amazing meals, service, great wine list..... the owners also have a coffee shop/deli across the street with chickpea squash soup that I've gone back for it is so good...... oh and maybe a gelato.

Drive over the bridge, take a cab a limo or for God's sake get a ride if you must but for those of you seeking true Italian cuisine prepared with authentic pizzazz, ingredients and flare, it doesn't get better than Mangia Beve. Our server Michael was superb and as someone who travels over 200 nights per year and dines out... More

We returned to this family owned restaurant on the north shore....this is upscale Italian at it's best. Every dish was fantastic, starter, sides, pasta, mains and desert. They even made me a special dish they had on the summer menu because I asked as it had been a fabulous dish to remember....fish with a lemon cello risotto rice....soooo good. The lamb,... More

Our family and friends have been visiting this restaurant for many years now. Every time we go it is wonderful. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is beautifully set up and the food is simply delicious! One of my favourites is the Cornish Game hen with fresh herbs. Roasted to perfection and served with grilled vegetables. Melts in... More

Tight seating, busy, noisy, cold air blasts every time someone opened the door. Service was ... slightly off-putting: we were waiting to be joined by another couple and were repeatedly asked if we wanted to order despite the fact we made it clear we would await their arrival. Once they arrived (and the server knew we would be staying?) he... More
