A Cozy Restaurant

This is a nice cozy restaurant. The food is good and not too expensive. Nice atmosphere and good service. This restaurant offers a good variety of European food.

Our first time here, we had the schnitzel. Excellent! And the mushroom bernais sauce was so good we could've licked the plates! The price and portions were good, with roast potato and steamed veggies. Sorry we had no room to try the delicious looking desserts. Can't wait to go back and try the prime rib.

We were a party of five celebrating Father’s Day. Dad, being German was looking forward to have “real” food. What a terrible mistake it was. Having read the reviews that schnitzels tend to be overfried and dry, we tried to ask the waiter to make them less-so, but he haughtily replied that "they have been making schnitzels for 35 years... What a cute and cozy little place to eat. The prime rib is the best ever. The staff are professional and very friendly and helpful. The entrees are fresh as can be and taste wonderful. Desserts here to are tasty.

We have always had excellent food there and the service is above standard . Last year when we were there midweek we were asked if it was a special occasion and I said it was our 50th anniversary ..then they came out with a beautiful carnation hand posiey. We usually have the Snitzzel or prime rib or steaks are very... More

Excellent schnitzel, and the goulash is amazing. Ambiance is good and the staff are friendly. Reservations are recommended. A good family atmosphere.

If you want a lovely drive into a small town. If you want the freshest ingredients, artfully produced with years of knowledge and recipes that rival 5 star eateries, then make the trip to Elizabeth's. having been a fan for years, I cannot say what is my favourite meal. Is it the sauces, which enhance so many dishes, is it... More

My family and I visisted Elizabeths on a very busy Saturday evening. We have been wanting to try the restaurant for many years and were no disappointed. The food and service were fabulous. Although it was busy we were comfortable chatting and were checked on regularly. The food was great, beautifully cooked and presented. Thank you for a lovely evening,... More

A recent visit for a quick lunch turned into a long wait and disappointing experience. I ordered a shrimp sandwich and waited almost an hour for the food. When it finally came, the shrimp was clearly not fresh. I could smell it before the server put the food in front of me. It's amazing the chef/cook couldn't smell that the... More

We've been to Elizabeth's Chalet a couple of times in the last year and have found the food very good and the atmosphere enjoyable. Their prime rib dinners are a favourite of mine and when this is not avaiable any schnitzel selection is always a winner! Service is always prompt and pleasant.
