Stopped for a couple of locally well regarded microbrews, and stayed to eat as well. The three of us were all highly impressed with the beer and food. Good blend of many good quality ales of different styles with more than a few special "one off" beers. Menu was creative and lent itself to everyone trying a variety to share.... More

When I went with friends to the “Central City Brewing Co.” I was a bit sceptical since I knew that it was not cheap there. But it turned out to be right. The dishes were great. Everybody was satisfied. I had a Burger with sweet potato fries and chipotle mayo as standard meal (to compare). The burger was great, juicy... More

As you look around in Surrey be sure to check out Central City Brewing. They have a unique and flavorful menu with vast brew options. Over all a great place. I had the AAA burger with a zucchini dill soup and both were great. A little over priced but worth the experience. Pale ale super hoppy, stout was great. Stop by if your in the area

Recently took 3 families after hockey for dinner. Had a reservation. Waited over an hour and a half for our food. The server went missing, no manager came to discuss with table and no compensation was given. Considering our family of 4 eating off the kids menu came to $90, I'd seriously expect some realm of descent, timely service. To... More

About 40 colleagues from work attended for an after-work retirement function and it was the ideal spot. We had a separate section at the back of the premises; with plenty of seating but room to move/mingle about. The servers were great, food was good and prices were reasonable. We had been attending these functions at another place in Surrey but... More

Have been here a number of times and always have had a good experience. The "home" brew is very good as is the food. Typical bar type atmosphere and servers are what you would expect in a "typical" bar/restaurant of this nature.

I have been to Central City quite a few times - for lunch and for Fund raisers ( no doubt about it - the best place to hold a fundraiser: management and staff cannot do enough to help). The burgers are the best in the city: brioche buns, tasty burger and the yam fries are world famous. Let's not forget... More

Pros -Trendy upbeat atomosphere, attractive servers. Cons: overpriced, salty pub food. They could really use a menu overhaul to offer lighter fare with some fish choices for example. Servers training and attitude is hit and miss. It is the only trendy resto in Whalley, the food is certainly not why people go there.
