The name speaks for itself. Home-style cooking, nothing fancy, the salad comes in a separate plastic dish. Re-fills on the coffee, service is friendly and prompt. Pay at the cash register. The restaurant seems to fill up with locals and those attending the Haliburton School of Art. Despite the simple surroundings and plain cooking, prices are high. Business here is... More

Worst omelet ever! It was barely cooked. Gross coffee. I guess when you're the only place open, you're going to do well no matter how awful the food is. I get that this is a small town diner but there are some very good diners with good home cooking. This isn't one of them.

We ate here twice while travelling in the area, lunch and breakfast. Good, "stick to your ribs" food, friendly, efficient staff, large portions, real "home made" taste, an excellent choice!

The wait staff was courteous and efficient. I would compare the food to that of a friendly diner -- something for the whole family. I recommend the breakfasts in particular.

well I've only been at Kozy Korner for breakfast and it was nice. The breakfast burritos are good also the pancakes. The kids loved it. A good family restaurant!

On a trip to Haliburton, my wife and I decided to stop in town to try out some local cuisine. We ordered the lunch special, fish and chips. Now, I don't know about you, but when I think of "fish and chips" I think of golden brown, beer battered fish, accompanied by tasty fries and coleslaw. When the plate came... More

needs to have it's decor seriously updated. Family run for many years but it's time to change. Food was ok but they need to concentrate on freshness rather than canned or frozen. Service was wonderful and it's obvious this is the local hang out. Better environment and fresher food would make for a great place to be.

Just arrived back to the lake , unpacking chore so jumped into car to hit the Kozy for lunch. Fish and chip specials were great. Staff always friendly and service is fast. Value for dollar is excellent. Love their all day breakfast menu also.

Reasonably priced family friendly restaurant. Good burgers! This is not your "tre chic" rest - no fancy coffee or infused anything. Just great basic food that kids love. I find it a little noisy but then it's pretty much always packed with lots of locals. Always a good sign!

Always great - family restaurant, 'down home cooking' great value for your money. This is why it's always busy. Plus great service. Home made soups, burgers too
