Had breakfast here every day while I was in town last spring. I love places like this. Sat at booths, sat at tables, near the window, near the back, it doesn't matter. Had a different server each time and they were all madly efficient and kept the coffee coming until I told them I was done. Tried their standard breakfasts,... More

I've been eating at "Kozy" for 50 years. Unfortunately, in the last few years, the quality has been going down and the prices have been going up. The last time we were there, the waitress threw cream across the table at me, the food was cold, and the spaghetti had obviously been microwaved (hot and splattered all around the edges... More

I have been going to the Kozy Korner for 33 years and have yet to have bad service or a bad meal. This is your basic local restaurant. No frills, but clean and reasonably priced food. You can go for just a cup of coffee or a whole meal. If you nab a window seat you have a view of... More

If this restaurant comes 13th out of 26 restaurants in Haliburton Village, I'd hate to think how bad the other 13 are. First of all, we didn't know until we got in there that it closed at 7 PM. The waitress set us straight in short order so we ordered and ate as fast we could. One of us ordered... More

The name speaks for itself. Home-style cooking, nothing fancy, the salad comes in a separate plastic dish. Re-fills on the coffee, service is friendly and prompt. Pay at the cash register. The restaurant seems to fill up with locals and those attending the Haliburton School of Art. Despite the simple surroundings and plain cooking, prices are high. Business here is... More

Worst omelet ever! It was barely cooked. Gross coffee. I guess when you're the only place open, you're going to do well no matter how awful the food is. I get that this is a small town diner but there are some very good diners with good home cooking. This isn't one of them.

We ate here twice while travelling in the area, lunch and breakfast. Good, "stick to your ribs" food, friendly, efficient staff, large portions, real "home made" taste, an excellent choice!

The wait staff was courteous and efficient. I would compare the food to that of a friendly diner -- something for the whole family. I recommend the breakfasts in particular.

well I've only been at Kozy Korner for breakfast and it was nice. The breakfast burritos are good also the pancakes. The kids loved it. A good family restaurant!

On a trip to Haliburton, my wife and I decided to stop in town to try out some local cuisine. We ordered the lunch special, fish and chips. Now, I don't know about you, but when I think of "fish and chips" I think of golden brown, beer battered fish, accompanied by tasty fries and coleslaw. When the plate came... More
