After coworkers had told us how good the burgers were, we decided to try again. Yes, they are homemade and very large.. Yes, they are dry and tasteless and the supermarket burger bun they are served on falls apart before you are halfway through. The fries although hand cut and fresh, tasted like they were cooked in old oil and... More

Simple little restaurant with great deck. Best breakfasts in town - great home fries, big servings, choices. For lunch -- real burger from fresh meat with all the fixings. Also their fish and chips are fresh, generous and reasonable. Seniors discount too :)

Everything on the menu is fresh cooked on site using local produce. I had the banquet burger and fries. You tell from the taste of the meat that it is fresh and made on site, not frozen. The fries were excellent and tasted the way fries should. Definitely a place to go to again.

the food was over priced and small portions and for the size of the place and the fact that there is hardly any seating the food should not take that long to get to you......

The food is over priced for such small portions, horrible service and the menu always changes. An overall terrible dining experienece. And what is so specisl abojt the burgers? No flavour at all, i dont think there is anything holding the beef together..

Considering theres only one person cooking I feel it is very personable and laid back. The food is all home made and the cook cooks specifically for you. Everything is always fresh, service is friendly and energetic and restaurant is very clean with an excellent view

I am not in the habit of writing reviews (especially bad ones), but this must be heard. I have been to this little place a few times and it wasn't half bad (not great, but not bad). The last time I was there not only was the girl a the counter extremely unfriendly and angst-ridden but the owner (a larger... More

Now called Head Lake Grill. (so ignore all previous reviews.) Breakfast, fish and chips (freshly breaded fish and fresh cut fries), chicken finger dinner (again all fresh) and poutine (with cheese curds) all very good. But the service is hit and miss... nice view of Head Lake from patio but no service out there if there's no waitress on. When... More

We had the fish and chips and the fish was very small for the price. Other restaurants in town have better fish with much larger portions for the same price or less. Pretty sure it was packaged fish you could buy at the store. Very disappointed.
