I cannot believe we have just been to the same place as everyone giving 5 stars for this restaurant. We were one of two couples eating outside - no other clients at all for the whole evening. It started well with light as feather cheese straws and an amuse bouche of cold tomato and basil soup. Being a very hot... More

A delightful menu built around black truffles, including a truffle omelet that was the best, most perfectly cooked omelet I have ever had. They have an incredibly extensive wine list, especially in wines from the southern rhone, with a range of price options. The service was friendly, informative, and very helpful. The restaurant decor is plain and a bit drab... More

Every year we go this this restaurant for my birthday,it really is worth the trip. The service and the food is just outstanding. We had 5 different wines all served in separate glasses so we could taste one against the other. The Janasse Mon Aeuil 2007 was also outstanding and a bargain at the price. I can't wait till next year.

This is THE restaurant for Southern Rhone wines, especially Chateauneuf du Pape. But Guy Jullien's cuisine--specializing in truffles from the region (Les Truffes du Tricastin)--is equally extraordinary!! How he manages to preserve his truffles and serve them as good as "fresh" in the 9 months they are not "in season" is a mystery, but he does. When we go to... More

We had a fabulous all truffle lunch here with a group of cooking friends. We asked the chef, Guy Jullien, to plan the meal and it was seven courses--Truffles with root vegetables, a fish dish with truffles, a white bean soup with truffles, chicken with truffles and on and on. Each dish was exquisitely done, well thought through, the amounts... More

Before I visit Provence in September this year, I looked up restaurant reviews in Tripadvisor. This restaurant has many great reviews; therefore, my wife and I, we decide to try it when we are in Provence. We stayed in a small beautiful town Isle sur la Sorgue. This restaurant is roughly an hour away by car from isle sur la... More

This place is a paradise. We are the third generation of customers (our kids the fourth!). This basically is the best place to find rare southern Rhone wines, and a unique match for Provençale cuisine. The chef puts utmost attention to the products he works with (truffles, agneaux etc) and has over-pleased us continuously for years with his traditional, simple... More

Very friendly service, excellent traditional French Cooking and a lot of truffle. The decor is a bit old style bourgeois, but with a lot of charm. The wine list is impressive and loaded wit a lot of bargains.

If you are interested in Rhone or Burgundy wines do go here as it has a spectacular list, hand written by the owner/chef. However there are cheaper wines if that’s not really your thing. We had a Jamet Cote Brune that was first class and cheaper than you could buy it retail in London. The restaurant specialises in truffles. I... More

This gem was a find! Although advertised from the main road, the unassuming entrance is approached by a tiny back lane - As we drew up through the gates into a courtyard and parked in the shade of giant trees, the Maitre D opened the door and welcomed us in. Although off-season, the restaurant was half full, and our immediate... More
