A great experience

Stopped at Crystal Mtn. on the way back from a cruise out of Seatle. We rode the gondola up to the top and had lunch at Summit House on top. The fish and chips were great and the view of Mt. Rainier and several other mountains was fantastic.

Took my Aunt & Uncle who were visiting from L.A. - we had a great time visiting this place. The view was magnificent. The food/service however left much to be desired and it is on the pricey side but is to be expected given the place. Service was the worst - a family behind our table had soda spilled on... More

This is the best place to eat on the mountain. It has sit down service and an amazing view. The menu is varied and unique. I like the Croque Madame sandwich.

Super good food!! A little lacking in a variety of food, and is always pretty packed, but we had a good time here! It is easy to get to from the ski and snowboard hills (you have to pay for the gondola ticket) and get a cup of hot coco with whipped cream!! Than head out for some more snow... More

I barely remember the food! It was average restaurant Prime Rib. The View!!!!! I cannot say I had ever been anywhere that even closely compared to this. I had been up Rainer, Hood, St Helens, all over Colorado and all over the Smokies in Tennessee and N Carolina, but until I got up there I had not seen anything that... More

On a clear summer evening, we enjoyed our dinner at the Summit House at Crystal Mountain. We had a nice prime rib dinner on a Friday night in August. Service was marginal and the food okay, ranking as average. However, the views make this a 4 star place. With several nights at Mt. Rainier, we were happy to have a... More

The views are amazing. What was a surprise is the quality of food. Delicious. The gondola ride was smooth and steep and the attendants are polite and helpful. The wait staff was friendly and service was as good as any restaurant at sea level. Definitely worth the trip and the cost.

We took the cable cars up to experience the wonderful view and it was truly amazing. It was mid afternoon and we just finished with our tour guide and realized we were starving! So our guide had mentioned that the Summit House had some of the best hot chocolate ever. Being the tourists we are we were not dressed for... More

The food is just okay but the view is spectacular on a clear day. Of course we dined on the patio but we kind of wished we had packed a picnic lunch (as there are areas to lay a blanket down and there is at least one large picnic table) but didn't plan ahead, so we were stuck with no... More

after several lift rides reaching the top of the mountain is an experience in itself. to have a modern restaurant is just a big plus. seeing the little picas scurrying about and to breath the high altitude air gives you an appetite that will be sated by a great menu with food and drink selections you will enjoy.
