Best fry place to go

This place is a Christina Lake summer must go. It is always busy and part of the heritage. Generations of families come back just to visit.

This place is awesome. Make it a nightly pilgramage to see the locals, their dogs (you can get a cone for the puppy if you ask) and many, many spiders (my son counted 38 in the rafters - but don't be deterred!). You'll enjoy the ice cream (soft and hard) and, while we didn't try the menu, based on how... More

Busiest place in town, lots of choices and friendly staff. Tried extra hard to accomodate my nieces gluten free needs.

We were in Spokane, Washington on vacation and decided to take a quick trip to Canada for a few hours. We only had time for lunch and were pleasantly surprised to find Kool Treat near Christina Lake. The food was pretty good. My husband ordered the fish and chips. It was a large portion and tasted good. The kids had... More

This was within walking distance of our motel. There are many flavours of ice cream, which were very good and worth the evening stroll.

If you are stopping in town for a night or 2 I would definitely recommend Koop treat. Their Burgers and their soft serve ice cream are really good.

There's something very comforting about a tradition, and as this spot has been at the lake forever... it is a good place to start one of your own if you have kids. For an absolute laugh ( and it you have at least a family of 4 ) share a "Holiday Hog Out". It's a not to be missed gigantic... More
