good ice cream

This was within walking distance of our motel. There are many flavours of ice cream, which were very good and worth the evening stroll.

If you are stopping in town for a night or 2 I would definitely recommend Koop treat. Their Burgers and their soft serve ice cream are really good.

There's something very comforting about a tradition, and as this spot has been at the lake forever... it is a good place to start one of your own if you have kids. For an absolute laugh ( and it you have at least a family of 4 ) share a "Holiday Hog Out". It's a not to be missed gigantic... More

Came here with my three kids and very much enjoyed the 50's style soda pop theme and the icecream was certainly delicious.

Very special treat....many, many flavours of soft ice cream. The cones are big, so if it's a hot day, ask for a cup to catch the ice cream as it starts to topple... Nice place for refreshments. Close to our hotel...easy access from freeway.

Great food, poutine with pulled pork is awesome. 100 flavors of ice cream - soft serve and hard ice-cream, Quite busy in the summer. Tables outside and a few inside with a washroom.

Kool treats is a great place to stop and eat while driving through Christina or while camping there. They have great burgers, poutine, hard ice cream, shakes. Etc. It does get busy in the summer months so give yourself some time, It's fast food but not fast.

After a long hot day on a motorcycle we usually don't like to get back on the bike to drive to eat. We stayed at Christina New Horizon Motel and this little burger place was walking distance for us. It was very busy and popular. We both had "wraps" that were fresh and delicious! And of course we had ice... More

We hit Kool Treat at least 10 times while in Christina lake. It serves good old make you "fat and happy" food. They have a ton of different ice cream flavors and a nice place to sit out front. If you are in Christina lake or just driving through, you owe it to yourself to stop.
