Average food at an average price ...

The Old Caboose has been around for a number of years and I have eaten here several times. The food is reliable, and the menu is pretty standard for a small town restaurant. Prices are reasonable and portions are good. The location is very convenient for easy access from Hwy 5.

THE place for a decent meal in Clearwater if you don't want to pay too much. Friendly staff, lots of local guests, fresh food. Interior looks outdated but I guess that keeps the prices low. A reason to tip generously.

This was my third or fourth time eating here, as we moved from edmonton to kamloops a few years back . It was recommended to us by a friend that also does restaurant & hotel supply in the area, I have to agree with him everything I've tried on the menu has been excellent, with my favorite being seafood fetuccine.... We were staying in a motel near by, and wanted a few drinks with dinner. This venue was within a short walk. Not even close to worth it.The only drink, was the first one I ordered. When I went up ansd asked for another, I was brought a water. We ordered salads to start , which never showed up. I... More

This was the first time I had ever stopped at this restaurant. Breakfast was great and very reasonable.

We went in September, and the only negative thing I could say was the early closing, they were not busy, obviously as most of the trekkers had left, but I still fancied a nice quite drink whilst on holiday, but they had to shut about 9pm. Would recommend the food and service.

We each ordered the crispy chicken wings and a large as well as small Caesar salad. Truly the worst! The wings were so shrunken and tasted very old, like they'd been in the freezer for more than two years. I asked for EASY dressing on my salad and it came drenched...and the dressing was obviously from a,bottle. Nothing like what... More

We had 2 dinners and one breakfast here while staying in the area for a few days. The best we had was the Fish and Chips, and Jaimie, the Waitress was very efficiant and helpful, with a great attitude and good service. The second night I had the wings, which had a very unusual texture. I'm not sure how they... More

We chose to eat here in the evening because it was close to the B&B where we were staying. It does look like an average diner but the food and service were really good. I had the baked trout, and my partner had the salmon fillet and we both really enjoyed it. Good value for money too. Can't fault the... More

Had a basic burger with a side salad. Portion sizes were more than sufficient. Burger flavour was fine. Service was ok. Nothing to rave about either positive or negative. They did let us sit and visit after they were officially closed which was nice.
