We stopped here by chance after a visit to the Clearwater visitors centre. With 15 minutes to closing we were still made welcome and sat outside in the sunshine with good coffee and great home-baked pastries. So good we bought more to keep overnight in the cold car ready for our 'elevenses' the next day. Glad we found this bakery... More

Awesome german style bakery. Friendly staff, good coffee, fair prices and a big delicious selection of self made cookies, sandwiches and of course bread.

We visited 160914 for breakfast and ended up coming away with cakes for later too. Good service. Child friendly, noted there was baby change in the toilets. Patio outside which was very busy in the afternoon when we drove past. We were travelling in an RV which we parked at the nearby visitor centre but we probably could have got... More

I visited this bakery in 2007 and remembered it so paid a return visit, had coffee while we waited for sandwiches to takeaway for the next leg of our journey. Delicious fresh sandwiches made to order, just as good as I remembered. Very busy but lovely patient staff.

Lots of options available and service was good. Clean and quite funky. Toys for children! Good location, on way to the waterfalls.

We stopped for breakfast during the long drive to Jasper and were greeted with around 20 desperate looking people all with number cards on their tables but no food. Gamely, I queued for 20 mins and placed my order with the lady who was taking orders, making coffee, serving tables and helping in the kitchen! After half an hour my... More

Leaving the highway you have to travel 10km to get to Spahats waterfall in Wells Gray park (nice waterfall not a big walk from the carpark) and just after turning off the highway we saw this bakery. We stopped on the way back from the waterfall and were glad we did. The log cabin is clean and the staff friendly.... More

We discovered this bakery years ago while staying at the KOA within walking distance but now we stop even if just driving through. You have to get there early if you want cinnamon buns but then you can have wholesome porridge or very tasty eggs for breakfast!

You can find this bakery and cafe on the right hand side as you head up the Clearwater Lake road (just off the main road). We found it by chance and enjoyed our sandwich lunch so much that we called on as we left to buy a take out lunch bag for our journey that day. Sandwiches and wraps made... More

Stumbled across this cafe whilst travelling around, needed to stopped for lunch , went short way down the road and found this log cabin building. Great different choices for lunch, well cooked and tasty. You need to go off the main road to find but well worth it.
