Head Smashed in Cafeteria

We really liked the bison burgers. The facility is clean and well run. Also, the gift shop had lots of memorabilia.

For a quick serve this was a very slow restaurant. And is pricey for what you get. It would be nice to see a better variety of fresh foods and less fried. The bannock was the best thing I ate.

On a hot summer day, the only bison dish available was a stew. What would have been much better was to offer more aboriginal foods, such as bison jerky. Aside from the stew, the rest of the food offered was standard fast-food cafeteria fare.

The cafeteria is what you would expect when it comes to looks, the food is really good, we had the buffalo stew and the buffalo chili with bannock, good portion sizes and well done. The staff is also very friendly.

As the title suggest, the menu is limited. Food served is mediocre. They need to offer more variety.

This cafe style eatery was clean, but service was slow. My stew was lukewarm, but had good flavor. The bannock might have been made a couple of days ago as it was dry. My husband's buffalo burger was very good. Prices were high enough for what you got. (a small plate of onion rings was 6.95)

The Tacos were so tasty. While visiting the site we were also treated to a sample of Berry soup. Yummy!!! Servers were friendly and place was clean. There were other foods available, I just prefer the Tacos when I can get them.

The cafe had a limited menu on the day we visited but the food was tasty and well priced. We enjoyed the soup and burgers.

I had lunch at the end of my visit and sampled my first buffalo burger and it was very tasty. The service was quick and efficient and there was room for 50 or so in the cafeteria area which served a variety of fast foods quickly and efficiently.
