Wheatberries has been one of the mainstays on the sunshine coast for years. They have several locations including a small kiosk at the Langdale ferry terminal. At least once per visit I find myself dropping in to grab a coffee, baked good or snack. The food is all made from scratch right there on the premises. All the baked goods... More

I love their muffins. Fresh home made and huge!! I also love their Black Forest turkey sandwich. It's big. There are lots of other tasty food as well, but I never got a chance to sit down and enjoy the environment, which I should. Loved it.

I always - well, almost always - check in at Wheatberries before I get on the ferry at Langdale. The staff are very friendly, the food is wholesome, the coffees and smoothies are fresh. I like the fact that they are a small business offering more than the run-of-the-mill prepackaged drinks and treats.

When travelling I like to support the local economy and Wheatberries makes that easy to do. Whether you are stopping in Davis Bay for a walk, or waiting for the ferry Wheatberries offers a great cup of coffee, fresh baked goods and light food to tide you over to your next meal.

Since moving to the Sunshine Coast in 1992, I have been a big fan of Wheatberries. This is a small, local business with a personal touch. They make fabulous muffins, cookies, bread, bars, including gluten free and lunch items too. And seasonal items such as hot cross buns for Easter. For special occasions, their chocolate ganache is to die for!... More

Made regular stop at the 818 location on Gibsons Way in Gibson. Treated ourselves to gluten free cookies, peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, day old scones(50% off), and a nice hot latte. A bit pricy, but all very good. Friendly staff and nice location; log frame structure. Comfortable seating area inside and out to make use of the wifi and... More

Coffee & lunch time soup were good. Personnel were friendly and efficient. Laid back place to relax a while.

Do the owners know how many people stop in and do not purchase anything because they have no price list to select from? Common sense tells me, no price list equals high prices. Many people feel embarrassed to have to ask the price of each item, and instead prefer the SHOCK of receiving their bill when it is too late,... More

Cold latte, stale baking, high prices, long line-ups, virtually the only game at the terminal. Maybe some competition might motivate them to provide good service!
