There has been a marked improvement in the food preparation, particularly the specials. The New Year's Eve lamb presentation was excellent. I visit this restaurant regularly and am always satisfied, often delighted. The staff are very friendly. And the glass of wine is generous. Daylight views are spectacular of the marina, Keats Island, the Coastal Mountains and the sound. I... More

Nice atmosphere: beautiful view, model ships. Portobello mushroom burger was excellent, accompanying salad was ok. Waitress was friendly. Would definitely return - one of the nicer restaurants in small town of Gibsons, where it's mostly café, bistros, and quick food places.

My husband and I came to Gibsons for dinner and asked a local to recommend a good place for fish and chips. At their suggestion we came to the Waterfront and had the most delicious halibut and chips. The fish was battered with tempura batter and the chips were hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. We preceded the meal with... More

We went to the Waterfront and were shocked to find that the rather unimpressive front is in stark contrast to the dining area, where the view can only be described as spectacular. The server was friendly and efficient, and the breakfast we ordered arrived quickly and was indeed excellent. Good food, served hot. No complaints about this meal. We will... More

Service was ok, but food was nothing to go back for. The place also seems dated. There are a few other places in Gibsons where you can definitely get your money's worth - great food, great price, great service - try Molly's, Smittys, the Thai restaurant on the hwy....

I find this restaurant to be one of the worst in Gibsons. The waitress has worn the same leather skirt every time. It's dirty and the food is gross. Save your money and eat at home.

Great breakfasts, club sandwiches - lots of character. Especially the resident seagull who lets you know he wants to be fed, NOW!!!

Not sue there is a decent restaurant for breakfast on the Lower Sunshine Coast. The Waterfront was the worst of the bunch. I ordered the Corned Beef ($11!!!!) and it was a plate of boiled then fried potatoes, a few corned beef shavings, some sporadic cheese, and two poached eggs that hadn't been properly drained. It was terrible. There was... More

Can't say I was overwhelmed. Mom had the ribs which she did enjoy. I had Fish and Chips which were less than stellar shall I say? Molly's the following night were a country mile better. The F + C here were breaded with some kind of mmm breading? :-) rather than deep fried. Might appeal to some but rather like... More
