Molly's - always good and always busy

Three generations sat down to delicious food - chowder and scrumptious burgers - chicken and beef. The view of the marina was perfect and the service was good.

Nobody should travel to Gibsons without at least one meal taken at Molly's. My grilled oysters were superb and they did a bunless burger for my partner that she talked about for days.

Molly's reach may tickle the delights of Beachcombers fans, but the service is slow, the food mediocre, prepared by uninspired fry jockeys is disappointing. Listed as a pub, the atmosphere of the place is homeless, not really having its own, and not fitting well to a category.

Very friendly staff, sweet tea was really good which I was surprised. Usually when traveling it's a gamble, I'm from the "South" and we like our sweet tea! I chose crab cakes with salad that came with a really nice dipping sauce. My husband chose the fried fish and chips, really big pieces of fish also with a good dipping... More

Best location for a lunch platter with friends or family. Generous portions made with fresh ingredients. Friendly staff and great view over small harbour.

$12 for a bacon and cheese grilled sandwich and a cup of soup, $45 in total for lunch for two is a little steep. The food was tasty, and there is no denying the pleasing atmosphere and history of the place. If the prices were a wee bit more reasonable then it would deserve 4 stars.

A very late lunch here (fish and chips again as the fish was so fresh) but a very cozy place and friendly, attentive service. I hope this survives with the large redevelopment due for the waterfront in Gibsons. Personally I think there is such a need for simple, nice places with good food at reasonable prices. It was also interesting... More

We missed our ferry and had 2 hours and went over to Molly's for a quick bite of dinner. Both ordered the veggie burger. I had the fries and my wife had the salad. The side salad was very generous with a very tasty balsamic vinegar dressing. My fries were served in a very cute stainless steel basket and were... More
