Very good pasta and service. They make their own sausage! Yummy! I would highly reccomend this place!

Attended Sita's with a group that was holding a dinner meeting. Staff were so accomodating to our needs, ensuring we were well taken care of, but without interupting the flow of the meeting. Food was fantastic and plentiful. Servers were very firendly, went above and beyond throughout the evening! I would definitely return.
I am blessed to have a great staff in the front of house and in the back. Nice to hear that the use of our " Godfather Room" for your private meeting was above your expectations. The room holds up to thirty comfortably and has been utilized for wedding rehearsal dinners, anniversaries as well as small meetings such as yours....

I was there only once and we ate pizza... Terrible, no taste at all. The sauce taste nothing it was just horrible.
Thank you for your review. Very surprised! We use Stanislaus tomatoes, Extra virgin olive oil, grate and import Asiago and Pecorino Romano cheese from Italy and 100% fresh ingredients on our hand rolled pizzas. Give us another go the next ime your in town. Ask for the proud owner / operator Dino Sita as I would love to buy you...

Where to go, where to go? We had the great idea of going out to eat but, being a Monday, we forgot that some restaurants actually close that day to give the owners and staff a rest. Can't blame them but then you have the dilemma of where to eat in Gibsons without driving all the way to Sechelt.
Our...

Thank you for taking the time to review your latest dining experience at Sita's. As an owner operator I feel very fortunate to be surrounded with such a supportive staff. As a team who wants to be better, we take our paying customers comments to heart ... This particular one has warmed it.

Stay away if you know and love real authentic Italian food, because you will NOT find it here. However, the portions are ok and it's not too bad, so this average restaurant, in an area where a good restaurant is hard to find, unless you want to drive further up the Sunshine coast.. .well, it's a compromise
Yes you are correct in your observestion about our chosen style of cuisine. We are a hundred plus seat restaurant in Gibsons, a tiny coastal town with a small population for ten months of the year. We need numbers through the doors in order to have any hope of year round sustainability. By design, our menu provides a a wide...

My family has eaten at Sita's several times in the last year, and sometimes we leave happy and full and other times we leave saying we won't be back... Consistency seems to be an issue, as I've had the same thing a couple of times and remember liking it the first time and then being disappointed by it the second...

Decent food and service, a bit more of sports bar scene than when at its original location. Also the original was more focused on being a unique eating experience, this place has a very regular menu.
We relied on other reviews to choose this place and were not disappointed. It was a Thursday night and pretty quiet so we got great service, but not so we felt we needed to hurry up so they could go home or anything like that. One of the waitresses was the owners daughter and she was likeably friendly. We had...

My wife and I stopped at Sita's on a recent visit to Gibson's. My wife had been there before and thought I would enjoy the experience. She was right!
We were early so the restaurant was not busy, service was attentive without being intrusive. We both ordered Pasta dishes and enjoyed some just-out-of-the-oven Ciabatta bread with oil and balsamic dip...

I really really like the pizza from Sita's but I also love the sausage and of course the pasta. On a recent visit, I confess to being lured away from the pizza to enjoy one of the pasta staples: the baked sicilian (minus the olives in my case) was so tempting that it swayed me away. And it was excellent,...

Closing for the lunch trade was a very difficult decision but as your well thought out reviews have chronicled over the past year, my goal to concentrate on improving the dinner dining experience may be starting to show. Thank you for the manner in which you let us know the nights when we could have been better and for times...
