Checked tipadvisor first and saw the good reviews, so stopped in for lunch as we were passing through. Quick, polite service from the Swiss owner. Excellent food. Would stop in again for sure!

This is a husband and wife team. The husband cooks and the wife serves at the tables. On arrival, we all made comments to how cold it was inside the restaurant and kindly asked if the A/C could be turned down. The Swiss server was very abrupt which I understand is a Swiss characteristic when stressed !! She refused ,... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant for dinner. I don't think I have rated a restaurant before but I had to share about this one. It is $15-$30 for dinner. It is German, Swiss, and Canadian cuisine. You know it is fresh when you can hear the chef pounding the schnitzel. The staff are very friendly and helpful with the menu.... More

Recently I have dined at this restaurant twice, once with a group of seven and the other time with my wife. The time with a group of seven was a pleasure. Every one without exception enjoyed their meal. A variety of choices were made and I think only one repeat order was made. Service was great, efficient and not intrusive.... More

Was just passing and so the sign about the biggest schnitzel so I got curious , the decor was nothing to write about , the staff was not that friendly but the service was ok , by contrast I never seen such big schnitzel and I have to admit they tasted very good so if you passing is worth the... The sign out front says that they serve the largest schnitzel in the Cariboo. As this is only our first night here, we haven't done any comparison shopping yet, but I can say that the portion was quite large and, even better, it was extremely tasty. My GF just had the half portion and it was quite enough for her.... More

We were in town for a business trip and one of our hotel staff recommended this restaurant for dinner. The food and the service were very good. Fresh, flavourful food, with large portions. I believe the owners and staff are originally from Europe. Most of the meals come in half sizes. The wiener schnitzel was excellent and the portion is... More

Great food & service at a reasonable price. Interior ambiance lacks but is clean. Have ate here at a special function = 5 course meal with various beverages. The event was extremely well catered. Also have enjoyed several luncheon meals here. The facility is operated by swiss personnel.
