The cuisine here is German-Swiss, and the emphasis is on schnitzels. The sign outside claims ''the Cariboo's biggest schnitzels''. The schnitzels we had were huge and very good, thinly pounded, with a light breading, and cooked perfectly. The Swiss-style potato rosti were very tasty, as were the... read more

They advertise the Schnitzel as the largest in the Cariboo and they aren't kidding. My wife and I shared one meal and it was more than enough for us. The restaurant was very busy when we were there and the two waitresses provided excellent service. The food was also very good. Give this place a try if you are going... More

This was within easy walking distance of the Ramada Limited. We ate here two nights and found the staff friendly and helpful and the food was very good. It describes itself as a Swiss Canadian restaurant so we both had the wiener Schitzel with what has got to be the biggesti rosti I have seen - filled cabout 1/3rd of... More

Checked tipadvisor first and saw the good reviews, so stopped in for lunch as we were passing through. Quick, polite service from the Swiss owner. Excellent food. Would stop in again for sure!

This is a husband and wife team. The husband cooks and the wife serves at the tables. On arrival, we all made comments to how cold it was inside the restaurant and kindly asked if the A/C could be turned down. The Swiss server was very abrupt which I understand is a Swiss characteristic when stressed !! She refused ,... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant for dinner. I don't think I have rated a restaurant before but I had to share about this one. It is $15-$30 for dinner. It is German, Swiss, and Canadian cuisine. You know it is fresh when you can hear the chef pounding the schnitzel. The staff are very friendly and helpful with the menu.... More

Recently I have dined at this restaurant twice, once with a group of seven and the other time with my wife. The time with a group of seven was a pleasure. Every one without exception enjoyed their meal. A variety of choices were made and I think only one repeat order was made. Service was great, efficient and not intrusive.... More

Was just passing and so the sign about the biggest schnitzel so I got curious , the decor was nothing to write about , the staff was not that friendly but the service was ok , by contrast I never seen such big schnitzel and I have to admit they tasted very good so if you passing is worth the... The sign out front says that they serve the largest schnitzel in the Cariboo. As this is only our first night here, we haven't done any comparison shopping yet, but I can say that the portion was quite large and, even better, it was extremely tasty. My GF just had the half portion and it was quite enough for her.... More
