I chose to stay at this Inn because they offered a gourmet supper package. Well worth it, the food was lovely, the atmosphere was relaxing and our time there was very rejuinating! They're grounds are lovely, we strolled and picked apples, we also got to walk out into the ocean at low tide. Awesome, relaxing experience with wonderful food, who... More

Friends arranged for my partner and I to dine at the Amherst Shore Inn in Nova Scotia. (This Inn and Restaurant are associated with the The Blomidon Inn in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, the venue of choice when in the Annapolis Valley.) We arrived early and were welcomed into the sitting area where we had crafts and tourist information galore. When... More

As other people mentioned we had to make a reservation ahead of time and choose between two entres and two desserts during the telephone conversation. Ill start with my complaints as they are minimal. Number one was the price. Wooo! We were not expecting to pay $50 each. Secondly the seat was terribly uncomfortable. It was old and the frame... The Amherst Shore Country Inn is situated a short drive from where I live. It is not a restaurant that you can just drop in to. You must always have a reservation as you will be asked to choose your meal out of 2 choices for main course and dessert. Last night all four of us had the scallops as... More

Located on the Northumberland Strait this Inn run by a local family provides very good evening meals (by reservation only) in a scenic location. We have dined there every year when we are in the area and have never been disappointed. The rooms are fairly small but quite comfortable while the owners are very genial and helpful. I would have... We visited Amherst Shore Inn two years ago and loved it. We recently returned and I'm happy to report it is still outstanding. Our room was perfect and the food was incredible. Thank you Mary and Rob. If you're in the area treat yourself and book a visit.

Rob & Mary always make our dining experience decadent!! We've attended their elaborate wine pairing dinners as well as come out for special occasions and we've always been more than happy with the service and the food. Absolutely awesome! The menu is limited and you must pre-order when you make your reservation but the options are decadent and well worth... More

Have eaten here a few timed over the years and the food has always been consistently of high quality. The menu is pre-set and pre-ordered so there is no choice - but the quality of food yu get is out of this world. They also grow a lot of their food right on the property and you can even walk... Since I knew that my sister-in-law's birthday was coming up and that sadly, my husband was going to be out of town for Valentine's day; I was excited to see that the Amherst Shore Inn was offering their 4 course Valentine's dinner each night between Feb 12-14. I immediately booked for 4 on Feb 12th even though it was a... More
