Excellent food!

We were a little worried about trying this restaurant as some of the reviews on tripadvisor noted that it might not be great for English only speaking patrons. A bit strong on the lighting, but great food and not too expensive. I had the scallops - small plate but really really good! Foie gras was outstanding!!!

Tried the restaurant for first time. Main course was cold. Had it reheated with microwave. The meal lacked flavor/spices. In fact it tasted like warm water. Staff is friendly and nice. Apologised 4 times for reheating the meal. Entrance is from side door, so you get to see toilets while heading to the restau area. Voila. Bon appetit!

The food was good, the service I'll say was good but the server didn't know English and the menu was striictly in French so beware because I ended up with Salmon which I figured out and like but it was in a curry sauce that I didn't know or was told of so was not thrilled. The decor is unremarkable... More

We used to go every month as we have a house in Bromont where we go every weekend. The food is good and we used to like the service and the atmosphere but the last three times we have been there the food has not been as good as before and the service has been terrible! The are misstreating the... More

We had spent a day at the Balnea Spa and decided to stay overnight in Bromont. We had no clue as to where to dine. Strolling down main Avenue we spotted a small restaurant and the menu seemed to be nice. What a treat!!! we enjoyed everything we took starting with the Potage then the Bavette with salad and very... First: a warning, this place is French. English tourists may find the menu and service difficult to navigate. That said, the food and staff are excellent. I eat Lunch here once every one or two months, and my experience has always been good. Les David & Goliath is consistently satisfying, tasty, and cozy. I recommend the Tar-Tar dishes and the... This restaurant is just great, we had scallop as an appetizer and both of us my wife and I had the steak and it was cooked as requested and was accompanied by pepper sauce which was excellent. For dessert we had cheesecake and pudding chomeur both of which were excellent. The service is second to none and I would recommend... More

I was there with friends... The waitress took an hour before taking our orders, forgot the boys beers, told us she was out by 8 o'clook while the restaurant was jamm packed. She sat at the bar, open her laptop and scroll on facebook. Our last course arrived at 9h30 by then we were pissed off.The service was a desaster,... More

This is one of the few restaurants in the area that is open on a Monday night. Turns out it is a very good one. Our party of four enjoyed a delicious meal from the back page of the menu ($23/pp, for appetizer and main, and a glass of wine or microbrewery beer). This excellent value is only offered from...
