Disappointed this time

I come to Bromont each summer and this restaurant was always on the list of places to eat. After last night's experience, I can't say I will return. I usually order the filet but decided to try the roast beef, cooked medium (don't hate me for that, I like it pink through!) When it arrived, it... read more

We went skiing for the day and wanted to have an early dinner on our way home. We were greeted by a lovely hostess and shown to a table for two in the back of the restaurant. There are little sections with birch tree dividers that give the place a warm atmosphere. We kind-of felt out of place in our... More

Arrived with business colleagues at 6:00pm. We were seated inside with one other table of two people. The restaurant was mostly empty. Waitress took our orders promptly, opened our wine and served our other drinks - then disappeared for 45 minutes. After ten minutes of trying to flag down a server, my colleague stood up and yelled across the mostly... More

We were waived to our table with no eye contact and a lot of sarcastic banter thereafter. Meal was served promptly but food was nothing special. Would NOT recommend this spot.

Got to the restaurant at 7:00 pm and were told there was no more room inside that they were awaiting reserved guests and were seated on the terrace. There were numerous guests outside but were finished supper or about to finish so we waited 10 minutes without being even being greeted waited anouther 20 minutes and decided it was enough... More

I went to the Macpherson Bistro Steakhouse (Le) on the recommendation of the owner of the accommodation i had booked for the weekend. She advised that if i wanted the best steak in town this was the place to go. Being in town for a weekend of bike riding i didn't have a great collection of clothes. I arrived at... More

Friday night -24 Celsius and at 8:30 PM no one there! Probably the best Caesar salad I have had in a long time, very tasty, you have to LOVE garlic and very ample. Ribs were melt in your mouth, excellent sauce and more than a man size portion in the full rack. Very nice choice of wines. Wide choice of... More

I am French speaking and visited the Bromont area with my parents. It was a quick overnight stop, on a lazy Sunday and we were looking for a nice place to eat. Although Bromont has a few main stream restaurants (St-Hubert, Sushi Shop etc) right off Highway 10, it was well worth our while to stroll down to the "Vieux-Village"... More

Great classy place, but pricey and clientele is a little too snobby for me. Food and drinks are good, service is ok

We were disappointed by our Valentine's dinner experience here. The food was scarcely adequate - and not at the level of other eateries in the Old Village of Bromont (such as La Perouse or Trafalg'Art or David+Goliath). But the live music was so loud and intrusive as to spoil the mood. Other patrons from their body language seemed to feel... More
