My husband and I stopped here for dinner and I have to say we were impressed! It doesn't look like much from the inside but is warm and inviting inside. Our server (the owner?) was friendly and attentive. Our drinks and food were brought out quickly and the wings and pizza we ordered were excellent. Would reccomend this place to... More

We stopped here this past weekend to have some pub fair and watch a football game. Our first time here. The pub is nothing fancy but very clean and bright. It has three big screen TV's, one pool table and approx 15 to 20 tables. The staff were attentive and the pub was filling up at a steady pace as... More

We decided to go here as a family as it has the "Families are welcome" sign. We came here and waited for almost an hour just for wings. The employees are very rude and I don't think I'll be coming back here again.

We decided to come for dinner after a long day at the hot springs. We walked in and the place looked run down enough that you did question the kitchens cleanliness. The server was foul and very scouly. Seemed annoyed when we ordered a water along to go with our food. Wouldn't come back to refill (I know it's not... More

If you have any expectations going in this place aside from wooden everything, dated decor, and a menu of classic pub food...where do you think you're going? This is an awesome place, full of that certain kind of run down 'dive' charm that makes travel fun. The vending machines of a certain latex product in the men's rooms will give... More

Will never go in again. the Pizza was the worst we have ever had. Almost had to beg to get service. Went in to watch the football game, TV went off, and asked if there was a problem, was told it happens all the time and the waitress walked away. So we did as well.

While on vacation in Fairmont our group (6 people) decided to have a few drinks at the Farside Inn. Wow, what a mistake that was. From the moment we walked in, we received cold and uncaring service from Cindy. Apparently, she was the only person working in the entire bar/restaurant. Cindy has very strict rules that customers have to follow,... More

West facing outside deck added to our enjoyment. Big screen TVs, pool table, inside. Clean bathrooms. Typical pub menu including good fish and chips,; Caesar Salad; and Clubhouse sand. Cold beer store as well.

We were looking for a spot to have a snack and a beverage. The Farside is one of few options in Fairmont HS without going to the resort. The appetizer - shrimp - was typical breaded, deep fried shrimp with cocktail sauce. The only two local beers on draught were good. The final tab was as much as a dinner... More
