Stopped off at Truffle pigs for lunch on Monday afternoon and it was simply wonderful. We sat out side in the sunshine on the deck and watched a little black bear entertain the folks by strolling by to have his photo taken. I had the wrap with a madras chutney side and my wife had the burger with fries and... More

We went early on Sat. night. It was crowded and we were seated at a table in the bar. This was very difficult for my husband---not enough room for his legs. The food was so so. We would not return.

My husband and I had dinner here and found the food and service to be average. Definitely not worth the cost and didn't live up to the great reviews online. I think this place needs some competition to keep them on point. Disappointed.

Very disappointed on our return visit, last visit was in 2005 when the TPB was across the road in what is now the Sidings Cafe. The atmosphere then was great as well as the food. On this visit we could not make a reservation as priority is given to those who stay at the Lodge. We where told that we... More

This little restaurant in Field could hold it's own in the San Francisco Bay Area without breaking a sweat. We ate lunch there two days in a row, solid. Jerk chicken wrap and duck confit flatbread were both delicious. If they recommend the fresh salmon, listen. Easily some of the best food in the region.

3 Giant tortellini's stuffed with chicken arranged around a giant CHUNK of bread? The pasta was overcooked and obviously left to harden under the heat lamp. Where's the sauce for the giant chunk of bread! Bad idea for a bistro plate and bad execution! Too bad as the atmosphere was amazing.

We stayed in Field three nights and ate dinner each evening at the Truffle Pig. Of the three meals we ate there, all were excellent, the one that stands out was the wonderful fresh halibut. Grilled perfectly with fresh veggies and the hazelnut crème brulee for dessert was the best I've ever eaten.
