We stopped here for a drink as we passed through Field BC. This is a cool funky little place. The bartender was very friendly and the drinks cold. We didn't eat here but we will next time we are through here. A place to check out for sure!

We recently had the opportunity to spend another great weekend in Field and of course dine at the Truffle Pig. We arrived Saturday Evening [Valentines Day] but unfortunately it slipped our minds. The staff were very accommodating allowing us to dine at the bar area. As all our previous visits our food was delicious. We had spent the afternoon skiing... More

We dined here last Saturday 7th February as a family of 4 adults. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My son had the NY Angus strip medium rare which was cooked perfectly. My daughter and I had the Flank steak special, again this was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Bison Bourguignon. We all thought our meals were good value... More

Have been here three times and all dishes have been excellent except for the poutine (last year) that is now off the menu. Would be packed every night if it was in Calgary, Vancouver or any other Canadian city. The pasta is very very good.

We fell in love with the little village of Field, British Columbia. We stopped at the Truffle Pigs for an unexpected lunch and really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the service. My wife had salmon chowder and a baguette. I had a bison burger which I thought was excellent. Our bill was 28.00 or so. We enjoyed the creative... More

Returning home to Vancouver from Calgary, we stopped at Field for lunch. We are famililar with Field as a great place to avoid crowds and line ups compared to Lake Louise, Banff or Canmore, so it's a marked destination. Truffle Pigs Bistro did not disappoint. Lunch was exactly what we were looking for, and the high standard we expect, we... More

We ate here on NYE. They offered a five course meal with two options per course. Since there were two of us, we ordered one of each item per course and shared. The food was all delicious and well presented. The only shortcoming was the serving sizes ...fairly small for the steep price. I have a pretty small appetite and... More

Service - very friendly & attentive. Food (as ever) - soooooo tasty. Worth every penny. Some might say it's a little expensive, but you pay for what you get. I had the Goulash. Never tasted anything quite like it - it was luurrvely...!!!!

Excellent fun little restaurant in Field, which is located in the main ranges of the Rocky Mountains. Food is excellent, restaurant decor is eclectic, in a good way... Whenever I'm exploring this area of the rockies I always try and stay in Field (instead of Louise or Golden) because of the Truffled Pig and Kicking Horse Lodge (where restaurant is... More
