This little gem of a restaurant offers some of the most creative and tasty meals you will ever enjoy, succulent pork dishes; ocean-wise seafood and outstanding vegetarian offerings. Definitely recommend that you check it out next time you are driving through the Rocky Mountains.

I have heard nothing but amazing reviews about this restaurant and on Sunday I finally got to see for myself what all the hype was about. The restaurant is small and unassuming with a cozy lodge atmosphere and a menu to die for! Everything was beyond expectations including our server Clint :) the only negative thing I can say is... Hands down best meal I have eaten at a restaurant. I have eaten at many expensive restaurants in all over the world and I still to this day talk about the food, service, atmosphere and friendly staff. If I ever go back to Canada this will be a must stop I would travel across the country just to eat here!!!!

We visited Yoho NP, got hungry and were passing by Field - a small township along the road. By pure incident we got to the Truffle Pigs and had one of the best dinners we've ever had! Family-like atmosphere, delicious food, excellent (French style) presentation, friendly staff. It was more than 2 months ago, but still we remember that dinner,... More

Liked: recipes Disliked: attention to detail not as good as last year. Food was not hot, staff was a bit "lazy". That's easy to do when you're the only night spot for miles.

Well it looks the part, but we were disappointed. The Sidings nearby is, in my opinion, better quality and better food, and cheaper as well

Everything about this restaurant it top shelf. Atmosphere, food, alcohol, setting. Drove into field looking for a place to have a beer and chill out before a cold night in a tent. Landed on the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. Chef prepared a special vegetarian meal for us. Beer on tap was micro and delicious. Lagunitas in the fridge... More

Came across this isolated small town reading the Lonely Planet guidebook from 2006 and the fact that this place is still in business must say something. We stopped off here for a coffee and slice of delicious blueberry loaf. We received a very friendly welcome. The café has great views over the railroad and the server explained that the engineers... A 3 week Canadian adventure & good to eat some 'real' food. Food that had actually been cooked on the premises with thought & not brought in by wholesale catering truck. Ate a Bison Bourguignon the first night & a Persian rubbed Lamb Curry the second. Imaginitive & delicious.

Living locally I hear all about this Resturant from guest visiting the area. When I looked up the menu it reads at the bottom "if you have special dietary requirements our kitchen staff are always willing to try to accommodate" I thought perfect as I am vegetarian this was reassuring. We were seated fast by a friendly gentleman who said... More

So Jen lets get a few things straight The server who served you is not foreign, she is of European descent, extremely professional and like you a "local" of the Canadian Rockies. Your claim that you were not served a Veggy burger from the lunch menu during our dinner service is correct, we usually don't serve lunch at dinner time... More
