We unexpectedly stopped in picturesque Field BC on our way to Calgary, Alberta and discovered Truffle Pigs. The menu won us over with the gourmet French inspired meals. However we arrived in the late afternoon so the limited selection of the bar menu was what was available. We ordered Chili fries and were pleasantly surprised. Truffle Pigs Bistro knows how... More

This little place in Field is worth re-visiting many times. Food is always excellent, presentation with detail and care, service great, beautiful views. We had a dinner here three times now, and we are already planning another trip to this fabulous restaurant. Don't miss this place.

We have been here a few times over the last several years, but this was out first extended stay. The menu is full of inventive, delicious choices. We enjoyed the expert service and a beautiful setting. If you love the mountains and you love good food, plan to spend some time in Field.

Every time we pass through Field we have to stop at Truffle Pigs. The staff are super friendly and the decor is fabulous with decorated paper mache pigs and bizzare masks hanging everywhere. We were there in the middle of the afternoon so they only had a small bar menu but between my clam chowder and my friend's blueberry pie... More

The food quality and imagination would rival any big city place. Almost worth the 2 hour drive there and back. Just outstanding and I don't give this rating lightly!

We've been to Truffle Pigs a few times over the years, but our diets have changed considerably due to health reasons in the last few years. We were in the area having a bit of a mid-winter vacation and stopped in Field to see if there was anything on the menu that would do the trick. We had an amazing... More

Dinner at the restaurant was DE-lish! Started with spicy Caesars. Special was lobster tail with saffron risotto. Pasta with arugula, basil and cashew pesto. A bottle of La Frenz chardonnay. Yum! Live music was by Windborn, an acoustic guitar and cello combo. Desserts were divine. Service professional and friendly. We LOVE this restaurant and drive a good distance to enjoy... More

We always stop at the rest stop in Field, but have never gone across the tracks into the town. We ventured in to find a restaurant, and found Truffle Pigs. What a delightful little spot! It's a gorgeous mountain chalet with a view of both the mountains and trains passing through. The service was prompt, polite and friendly. The fun... More

And the sweets... weLIKE! When we're heading back to Calgary, guess we will stop again for the great sandwich from the bar menue! Great food, good... More

Couldn't be happier w our stay and dining experience at Truffle Pigs Lodge and restaurant. Our server was personable and professional. The menu was creative w exceptional ingredients and accommodating to the gluten free crowd. Hoping to include this venue in to some capacity of our July wedding. Great job!
