Nice atmosphere, good portions

Although the menu is rather pricey especially in the dinning room (slightly cheaper meal options in the bar/lounge), the food was very good, fresh and decent portions. We ordered soups and a couple of entrees and had left overs after sharing it between three adults. Service and staff were very good.

Thank you for the positive review, and we are pleased you enjoyed our Canadian Rocky Mountain Cuisine. There is a ton to explore in this beautiful Yoho National Park, and we expect our guests to arrive with appetites - glad you had left overs! More

had the pleasure to spend the weekend at emerald lake lodge and what a great eating experience it was above all else in that beautiful spot. The breakfast combo was amazing with healthy portions and reasonably price. Nice touch with the bbq bacon and elk saucos! lunch and dinners were nothing short of amazing too. the ribeye was cooked perfect.

Located at emerald lake lodge on hi way 1 in b.c..If you are staying over it, s well worth the price with a world class view that's hard to beat. The staff in restaurant are more than willing to help you with anything you want or need. The food is priced a little more than average but when you consider... More

Simply the best service we received during our 2 week travels in Canada. Attentive and sociable staff and well cooked, well presented, delicious food in a brilliant restaurant. Breakfast the following morning was a similar affair. We especially enjoyed how the staff took the time to talk with us.

If you are staying in the resort they have you as a captive audience. There are notices up discouraging you from bringing food and drink into the hotel. You must book early for the restaurant as they get booked up, leaving you no option but to eat in the bar or go hungry. My husband had a steak that was... More

We were delighted with the new appetizers and overall quality of the food this year. (2014 was NOT good). Entrée's were the same boring "game" food. Need something new and interesting there. And, can't believe they don't even offer Alberta beef. I'm not much of a meat eater but I'd pick that beef over any stringy, dry, gamey "wild" meat.

my wife and I had dinner there one night. They had one egg and goat cheese veggie option that I didn't want so I asked if they could make a plate with veggie sides and the waitress, who was very nice, asked the kitchen and returned to say they wouldn't. So I ordered soup and salad. The salad was small... More

Lovely bar setting but shambolic service. Waitress & manager apologising to numerous diners. Suggest staff visit restaurants in Field to see how it should be done. Avoid.

Nice hotel with stunning setting; rooms are not air-conditioned and it was warm, but not the hotel's fault; no cell phone service or wi-fi in rooms, so not great if you have business to tend to; limited wifi in public spaces; have to park off-site, so requires some planning

We had two meals at this location over our stay at the emerald lake lodge. Dinner - our dinner experience was lovely. We both had delicious appetizers and entrees. They specialize in game meats and the Buffalo and caribou where delicious. They also have an award winning wine list. Service was impeccable. True fine dinning in the mountains. Breakfast -... More
