One morning we had pancakes during our stay here. They were tiny and not worth the cost. The next morning we had a big egg breakfast. Most of it was good, except the elk sausage which was dry and burnt. That morning a person at our table ordered pancakes and received ones twice the size from the previous day. Overall... More

Had a variety of appetizers for our dinner and all exceeded expectation. Scallops were delicious. Charcuterie plate was a highlight.

We had dinner at the Mount Burgess dining room. The meal and service was top notch. Fresh and well prepared. A must when visiting Emerald Lake Lodge.

The front part of this dining room overlooks the lake and makes this one of the most beautiful places to eat in the world. The food was the best it has been in any of the 4 visits that we have made to the lodge and most dishes that we selected were really delicious, the others were "just" nice. Unfortunately,... More

It's nice when the warm dinner rolls come with soft vs. hard butter. The minestrone (12) was good but maybe too heavy with fresh tomato. The Pacific halibut was a generous piece, in a nice saffron beurre-blanc sauce, on a bed of couscous, but a bit pricey (34). Very nice fresh vegetables but I'd like more of them. The peach... More

We were staying for a special weekend and as repeat visitors were looking forward to it. Well dinner Friday and breakfast Saturday were very good and our servers were great. But and it's a big BUT Sunday breakfast was a disaster both from a meal quality and the server was one of the worst I've ever had!! We decided to... More

We were able to eat here for both dinner (our wedding dinner) and for three breakfasts. The service definitely goes up a notch for the dinner. We had our own host (Ben) who could tell you where every meat, berry, vegetable came from. He was very knowledgeable (with foods and wines) and seemed to love what he does. The appetizers were... The food was faultless. A great choice on the menu, superbly cooked and seasoned and helpful, friendly service. Excellent, although very expensive - but definitely worth it if you are celebrating something special!
