Why go on vacation if you can't eat cake for breakfast??? I had the carrot cake for 2 mornings and can't stop thinking about it. So fresh and delicious! My husband and son really liked the pancakes.

Wanted to eat across the street at the Truffle Pig but it was closed for breakfast - our good luck as we had a wonderful breakfast at the Siding. Friendly staff who went out of their away to make sure we felt welcome and we each had a special breakfast. The quality of the food was excellent, the espresso even... More

From a vegetarian perspective, Siding Cafe has some better options than truffle pigs and a little cheaper. Lunch-wise, the options were better for the non-vegetarians. It's a nice casual place with quick and friendly service for a decent price. Just like Truffle pigs across the street, it's a great outdoor, evening dining experience.

The Siding General Store in Field, BC, is a small general store, liquor store, bakery and small deli. They offer a limited number of hot and cold custom made sandwiches. They have a few small picnic tables both inside and out on the sidewalk. They offer some beer, both bottled and can, and some wines by the bottle. Being a... More

We ate at the cafe after the visit to the Emerald Lake. We did not expect much since this is a cafe in a very small town, but when the food arrived the quality of the food greatly exceeded our expectations. It is perhaps at par with a lot of the good resteraunts that I eat in San Diego. The... More

A great little store with very good staff who want to please their customers as much as they can. We had two evening meals there on both occasions the food was excellent and well served, everyone seemed to know exactly what they were doing. The food was freshly prepared, had excellent flavour and was reasonably priced.

Just a short drive from the visitor's center inside the town, we stopped here for a cup of well brewed coffee. We were not disappointed at all. This is a store attached to a restaurant, food looked yummy too. We bought a wine jam which went well with a toast.
