Based on TA reviews we had dinner here. We'd spent a very full day of walking around Lake Louise so we were hungry. We were lucky to get the last table in funky, cosy restaurant. Great menu made it hard to choose! Hubby had the cheese burger and salad and I had the veggie burger and salad. Both were excellent... More

Stopped at the Siding today for some lunch. Great service and excellent food in this gem of a cafe. The gourmet chilli cheese fries were possibly the best in Canada! Highly recommended as a road trip pit stop.

Good range of meals, both for dinner and breakfast. all served with a big smile and hearty welcome. We tried the opposition first night but stuck to the Sidings for our other 5 meals in Field

I had an almond milk latte and the heavenly toast. Both were deeeeelish. I'd definitely eat here again.

a good place to go when you just want something casual and nice as expensive as everything else around Field. Also they make sandwiches to go and bake their own muffins, banana bread, etc.

We came here from the Truffle Pigs lodge for breakfast as it was altogether more inviting. The cafe is twinned with a homely local store selling groceries, clothing and home-baked goods. We sat outside to enjoy the view and watch the world go by. Service was quick, coffee unlimited, breakfast tasty and we took away some wholesome muffins for lunch.

Was staying near Field at Cathedral Mountain Lodge, and decided to call in to see what was there as a quick pit stop. We were told in the Yoho Visitors Centre that we could get take out from the Siding Cafe, so we thought we would check it out. This place is a cafe, liquor store and general store in... More

This is such a great little cafe in one of the most unassuming places. The menu options are limited, but the food is excellent. I'm not saying this because there are limited options in this town, but because I believe that this restaurant can totally stand on its own if they were in a bigger town/city. We enjoyed our lunch... There were only 2 restaurants in Field and we were lucky to use this one! They had wonderful soup and sandwiches. The sweet potatoe soup was out of this world. The sandwich was huge and on delicious bread. We saved it for dinner. Service prompt and fast. Quirky atmosphere and close to our lodging. We would return.
