We at here twice during our stay in a cabin, and my wife and I loved every morsel of food we ate. It was also great to have such food available, but with a pretty casual atmosphere, which was great given we'd only packed outdoor clothes. The only letdown was the less than easy access to simple food for the... More

For what was offered, far to expensive. -very small rooms -almost no place for the clothes, you have to live out of your suitcase -at night you are entertained courtesy of Canadian Railways, steaming up the loooooong hill -restaurant was only slightly above average, although quite expensive -great dining room with superb fireplace -marshmallow barbecue at the river (yessss!) -some... Had a great stay in the cabins. We were only going to dine here one night but after our first night's meal we all voted to stay put for the remaining evenings. High quality food in cosy atmosphere. Log fires at gable wall. Young enthusiastic staff - many from the Antipodes!

Excellent meals here and good service. Wide choice of wines too which was a nice. Lovely cosy atmosphere with the log fire burning and stunning views, an ideal way to spend an evening after a long hike.

My hubby and I did not dine here as we were renting a cabin in Field and cooked our own food to save money, however, I really wanted to stop by and see this place while we were there. We drove up one evening and went in for a glass of wine. It was a Wednesday in July and it... More

We did not stay at the lodge but chose the restaurant after a day of hiking and sightseeing. The food and service were excellent and the setting is very pleasing -- refined without being stuffy.

All of the above AFTER hiking Iceline. We almost nixed this since we were tired and didn't want to get dressed up. SO GLAD we had already reserved a table and felt obliged to go. They sat us by the window where we enjoyed dusk and being unhurried with an order. EXCELLENT wait-person who let me try 2 different wines... More

We had dinner here the first night of our stay at the Lodge. They have a good selection of Canadian wines (and yes, there are some very good Canadian wines), and the food, mostly locally sourced, was very good. My Steelhead Trout was a standout.
