Located at the south end of town, close to hotels, this pub is a must for great dining in this northern B.C. Town, the lounge has great servers, flat screen t.v.'s for those who want to watch sports, the food is fantastic, I had a steak sandwich with salad and the steak was thick, properly prepared and very good, I... The food here is generally good and tasty, placement of TV screens for watching the game is good and the cost is fair. On a one off this trip I experienced some stomach upset after eating lunch here, so am disenchanted at the moment.

Very nice bar/restaurant. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful. What really surprised me was the menu. I wasn't expecting a menu that had chicken saltimbocca an a greek salad (horiatiki style not the usual iceberg and feta variety). Drinks were good. House wines and tap were excellent. The onion soup was salty to my wife's taste but I though it... More

Stopped in for lunch a business and enjoyed friendly fast service with delicious crispy battered fish and very good French fries.

I had the baked spaghetti and my husband had a spicy chicken burger. Both were well seasoned, with homemade sauces. The iceberg lettuce side salad tells you that you're in Northern Canada, nevertheless, a decent meal.

I had the fish and chips which was really very good. My wife had the beef dip which was reasonably good(not enough meat for the roll). They both came with a very large serving of french fries. It was a little expensive, but we were in Northern Canada where everything is high. The service was excellent!!

If you want a beer and a sandwich then this is the place to go in Fort Nelson. The beer was cold, the sandwiches were good, and the atmosphere was friendly. You can also gamble while you eat. They have some type of tv gambling in BC that I have not seen before. It only costs $2 to play so... More

We visited on a Friday night and the place was very busy. We both ordered the prime rib special and it was excellent and the price very reasonable. The sandwiches coming out of the kitchen looked yummy too. Good food, good drinks, nice atmosphere and excellent service - what more can I say. While I highly recommend Dan's, it is... More

I was a visiting chef and was invited to dinner I was just happy to have someone cook for me and arrived on a wing night. Wings were great nice and meaty with good flavour even though sauces weren't homemade. Ordered the onion soup and stir fry. The onion soup was in edible way too much salt and it was... More

Really good home made soups (Grandma makes the French Onion according to our server). It had wonderful flavor that was overpowered by the excessive salt, but that's the only negative thing I could say. Service was fine, food was fine and quantities were generous. We left completely stuffed. Beer was good, but unfortunately, they don't have any of the great... More
