This restaurant is run by great people with a very good chef and wine choices. The atmosphere is warm and cozy in winter and the outdoor eating experience on the porch on the ocean is perfect. Excellent and creative menu. Special meals. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything, from the warm welcome to the excellent menu choice was above our expectations. This is a jewel of a place and we felt lucky to be able to visit here. Whether you come in the daytime or evening, the view is outstanding. We returned to this delightful bistro because, years ago, we dropped in and just had a bowl... More

My husband and I went in on a foggy night which added to the romance. We were seated and offered beverages immediately. The waiter took care of us beautifully. We got just what we wanted and enjoyed our meal without interruption. The restaurant has great character and a wonderful view.

It has a wonderfull view of the harbour, and a wonderfull setting, its to bad the service, and the food could not match the afore mentioned tributes. This we found was not a place for couples and friends on motor cycles. If you come dressed in leathers just getting in from a awesome ride, don`t look to this place for... More

The online sample menu looked sooo good. The menu presented ...nothing to write home about. Fish taco, club sandwich, burger...plus three others that were more like dinner. Not at all like the online menu. pasta for me....yummy, but was looking forward to something different. Steak for him ..was good. A bit of a disappointment at the offerings. (which I expressed... Not sure which you will enjoy more the setting and view or the great food. Sat on the our door patio overlooking the Ladysmith waterfront and marinas and enjoyed a nice variety of seafood well prepared and nicely presented. The only negative was that the wasp were trying to enjoy the food as much as we were.

Page Point Bistro sits across the estuary from the highway, is in a quiet setting just above the water. We enjoyed our meal on the outside deck. Food was excellent, service friendly and on point, and the wine selection is amazing, featuring local/regional BC wines as well. Great spot.

The food was excellent. The view was the best....right on the lake overlooking the small harbor. The service ruined it for me. We must have waited at least 90 minutes to receive our dinner. A total of 2 1/2 hours sitting and waiting most of the time. Wouldn't go back for that reason alone.
