Went here on a snowy (for coastal B.C.) late November weekend evening. Place was surprisingly (and worryingly) empty premise (just 7 covers by the time we left). It was dark when we got there so we can't comment on the view over to Ladysmith (it's a long way there as one has to drive around the inlet). Given the lack... More

A very handsome restaurant right on the harbour looking across the bay towards Ladysmith. It was very quiet on this late November Friday evening. We had nice service by a fairly attentive young man. The wine list was big enough and fairly price. We shared the calamari to start and it was excellent - fried crispy but ever so tender... More

Along with two other couples we spent a wonderful evening at the bistro. The food, service and atmosphere were top notch and the prices were very reasonable. We sat in front of a toasty fire with a drink until our meals were ready and then enjoyed the wonderful water view over dinner. We will be back for another meal!

Page Bistro was the perfect setting with simple dishes for a family gathering! The service was excellent. Their statement of where the food is from locally much appreciated from a foodie in the group.

We had lunch here with local friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely view of the harbour was a plus. Food was excellent, as demonstrated by the four totally empty plates. Good beer and wine selection was appreciated. Decent service, with only one slight miss, but no impact on our enjoyment. All in all, a pleasant way to spend a couple... More

This is a romantic and intimate rural upscale bistro located above a marina down a lonely country road near Ladysmith, B.C. The food, service and setting are all exemplary. It took several phone calls (some not returned), and emails to secure reservations for our birthday celebration dinner. Once you are in enjoy the salmon or duck or? Just great!

We brought out of province guests for lunch and it took 90 minutes for our order to arrive. We noticed the other tables that arrived after us got their orders in good time, so don't know what happened.... this time ....again. We do support the slow food movement, but clearly this happens on our visits here. It wasn't busy, but... More
