we were drawn to the restaurant because of the Food network advertisement and we were pleasantly surprised that it lived up to the hype! My husband had the mussels for an appy and then the special of t-bone steak. I had the chicken wings and their new dish of turkish chicken. I can't even begin to praise the quality and... More

A generous portion of perfectly pan fried sea scallops not burdened with unnecessary coating or sauces. Ceasar salad was homemade and delicious! This spot is more of a cafe than a restaurant, bordering on tacky but with food this good atmosphere doesn't really matter.

WINNER – phenomenal food, eclectic décor, friendly and informed service, quaint – all of this describes an unplanned visit to Magnolia’s Grill on Montegue Street in Lunenburg on Saturday Evening. Looking for a unique place to have some good food on Saturday evening after a working weekend on the lovely South Shore, I remembered a great German place we had... More

This was our visit to Magnolia's after five years. Boy was it disappointing! It is no longer a restaurant but a glorified snack bar (the only redeeming feature is the view from the terrace). We could no longer find pan-fried haddock on the menu - it is all cheese panini now. Even the key-lime pie was disappointing, the fresh whipped... More

Fish was fresh and cooked nicely. I guess I was expecting the grill to 'wow' me in some way, but it didn't. I enjoyed my meal but wouldn't make a point to go back.

Really enjoyed the peanut soup & key lime pie. Everyone at our table had great food. Will definitely be going back again!

The food was tasty with different tasty recipes for soups and main courses. It was a nice change from the usual fare as burgers and fish n chips. The service was excellent too. The dessert menu looked very exciting but we were too full so wanted to take dessert home but were not allowed. Disappointed in that respect as they... More
