good fish & chips

Very busy evening, but good service nonetheless. Fish & chips very well executed. Great selection of beers for those who want something different. Nice little pub

Stopped in with 11 people in our party it was 740 pm, they had a table just big enough to fit us all, She managed to get everyone's drinks and food orders right the first time, smiled through it all, and had us through in just over an hour. There was plenty of food for every one and something to... More

I visited this pub and it was an instant success for me from just an aesthetic standpoint. It has wonderful wooden pub feel and plenty of thought on booth design for encouraging social behaviour. The food was delicious and the portions were great. In fact, the largest grilled cheese for my so that I have ever seen!

Had the delight of having lunch here again this summer and seem to enjoy the experience more each time. A bit small but very cozy and loaded with a charming old world atmosphere and consistently great service. All the fare we've tried was delicious and the choice on tap as well! Truly the gathering place - a welcoming and interesting... More

We stopped here to cool down and grab a bite to eat after touring around Lunenburg on a hot, unexpectedly sunny day. The Knot pub did not disappoint, it is a small, but cozy little place that fit our preconceived notion of a pub in Nova Scotia. The pub was busy even on a Tuesday night and there are not... More

My fiance and I stopped by The Knot Pub after a spending a foggy day walking through Lunenburg. We weren't sure what to expect due to the tiny outward appearance of the pub but were pleasantly surprised when we went inside. We had a pub club sandwich with fries and chicken strips with caesar salad and both were delicious. The... More

Was an adorable 'hole in the wall' that looked like something you'd see in The Shire... On the outside. Inside you find a place that is larger than life, spacious and well appointed. Good food, good service, good price. Would definitely go again

The Knot Pub reminds me of a Hobbit house. It looks tiny from the outside but it's actually quite spacious inside. The food is very good and the service is top notch. Get there early for dinner because it fills up fast and gets very busy as the evening wears on.

We know why this is a favourite of the Lunenburg local crowd - the potato skins, fish chowder and caesar salad were delicious. The portions are generous and the prices can't be beat - the locally made Bulwark apple cider was excellent and the quirky wooden seating and warm, cozy interior made it a perfect stop on a rainy, cloudy...
