Scallops were better

What a lovely delicious place. Our seafood chowder, fresh fish and chips and broiled scallops were scrumptious. The scallops were far better than the ones we ate at the highly rated mckelveys in Halifax

My wife loved it but I thought it was just ok. I did not like the wings that much. My wife thought the food was great. I may have to give it one more try.

Great food, great beer, friendly staff and good service. We ate here whenever in town because the standard was always consistent. Pub has a very warm atmosphere and the cliental were always friendly.

This is a place to plan and stop and eat. It is not a large place to eat but the portions are large, the service is friendly and the food is always fresh. I have been disappointed only because I was not able to get a table, it is busy always at meal times. Go when meal times are not... More

Went here based on recommendation and were not disappointed. Cosy little bar with a good number of locals in. Had a couple of beers and decided to check out the menu. Glad we did. We ordered two of their sirloins which were perfectly cooked and came with a wonderful salad. Stayed until quite late and enjoyed a few of the... More

The small mussels is large! The mussels must have arrived from the shore just prior to our visit they were so very fresh. The fish cakes were as always delicious. The ceasar salad tasted a bit "off", almost sour.

I was in Lunenburg with a group of friends. We were told that this pub was where the locals went. We ended up eating at different tables due to the fact that they were rather busy and there were 11 of us. We didn't mind. I had the grilled cheese sandwhich and it was absolutely fantastic. It was probably the... More

This is where the locals hang out. Garlic and the aroma of other comfort food wafts throughout. Great beer on tap. Live music and other entertainment on occasion. Fantastic spot!
