We ate 2 meals there and it was yummy both times! Very popular with the tourists and locals alike! Very comforable seating and the service was satisfactory! Very friendly staff!

I came here on a recommendation and we both had excellent meals. The meals were more reasonably priced than those of the water, so you just have to enjoy viewing locals instead! Good and hardy meals for those who enjoy their food from the land or sea.

This pub was across the street from the Bluenose Lodge (where we were staying). I would have happily eaten more meals there but we had family commitments. The fish cakes were sooo good! My husband really enjoyed the sausages. The kids devoured the grilled cheese with added ham (real ham pieces, not deli slices!), and the fish & chips. The... More

We've been visiting Lunenburg for over 20 years, our favorite time to stay is in the dead of winter, when the town is peaceful like no where else. That's when the locals far out weigh the tourists and they will all tell you to spend a cozy evening at The Knot. The food is traditional pub done to perfection, the bar... More

The food here was absolutely divine. The restaurant was packed but we were quickly seated and the food arrived shorty after.

What a great pub! We went here one night for dinner. Great menu, lots to chose from and very good food! Highly recommend if you are in the area and are looking for pub style food. We had the Fish cakes, a Chicken Caesar salad and mozzarella sticks and all were very good.

My wife and I have been searching for "our spot"....we've been close with several places, but not quite there. Well, a few years ago we found it in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The Knot Pub has the perfect atmosphere for us. It has a seafarer's or nautical theme, which is cool, but for me it is more like a quaint English... More

We stayed 6 hours one day, came back the other - and we've had a blast. The prices are reasonable and cheap, the servers are the nicest and the food is fresh and delicious. We had fishcake, knot burger, pub club sandwich, mussels, mozz sticks, salmon burger and everything was just perfect. The waiter recommended good good beer and was... More

This is where the locals eat. Half the price of the restaurants along the harbour, and better food for the most part. Very relaxed and casual. We were in Lunenburg four days and ended up eating here three times, including for our last meal before leaving.

Knot Pub is in a converted bike shop with old additions to make the area bigger. The design adds character but also makes one area darker than the other. It is a popular pub that was recommended to us by our B&B host. Service was friendly but only ok. The kitchen knows how to do fish and chips (great batter,... More
