The best Mussel Chowder!!

We recently stayed in Lunenburg for four nights and our only regret was not eating at The Knot Pub every day! We went twice and wished it was more. Between all of us we had twelve different things and everything was fantastic! The mussel chowder was to die for, not to mention the Fish and Chips... read more

This is my families favorite place to go to eat. the tables are small and a bit cramped usually, but the food is always good and the staff is great. I probably shouldn't review this as it is a locals favorite and we should keep it a secret.

The best I have ever had - and I'm pretty fussy about my fish:o) Will definitely go again - and we don't live there anymore but will go back for the food.

We have been to Lunenburg many times but this was our first visit to the Knot Pub. Right from my first glance at the exterior, it reminded me of my preconception of a neighbourhood pub. This notion was reaffirmed by the interior. On this cold wintery day, this pub was warm and welcoming. Service and food were good, good menu... More

Busy pub, arrive early as usually a wait for a table. Hot food, cold beer and quick friendly service. Visited by locals and tourists. We drive to go to this pub, our local one in Mahone Bay is lousy.

Great casual dining that's perfect for lunch or dinner. Excellent food and reasonably priced. The haddock Is the best in the area. The fish chowder is also excellent. Service can be slow when they are busy but it's still worth the wait.

Ok. We havent been in almost a year as rumour has it its gone way downhill and maybe New Years Day afternoon wasnt the best time to try again. But the kitchen was disorganized, condiments ordered were forgotten no mustard on the clubhouse?, food came out in batches, battered fish was overcooked and greasy. Definately not as good as it... Open pretty much every day, the Knot is a dependable place to have lunch in Lunenburg. The food is fresh and the menu is very varied. The chowder and burgers were excellent. Desserts were good too. Go, you won't be disappointed!

Great atmosphere! Food is tasty, typical pub fare at good prices. Beer selection could be more extensive.
