We've been sampling lobster rolls and chowder around Nove Scotia and enjoyed the best of both so far in this little place. Generous serving of delicately seasoned lobster salad in the sandwich, and a chowder full of seafood, with a touch of thyme and just a little potato. Rich and flavorful. Sadly, we were too full to enjoy any of... More

More than once have I been to Sweet Indulgence, and every time I promise myself it is the last time. It is not the quality of their food, which I would rank from fair to good (although no gluten-free pastry). It is not the seating, which is indeed cramped, as other commentators point out, but I don't mind that. It... More

Recently visited this little gem for a quick coffee on the go. It very quickly became my place to go over the next 3 days. From coffee to food to sweets everything was amazing. The staff were fantastic, enjoyed Janice very much. She makes you feel very welcomed and at home. Looking forward to my next visit

We picked up box lunches on our way out of Lunenburg. They were kind of expensive ($15 plus HST), but very large. The sandwiches were excellent, the broccoli salad was ok. They throw in a cookie or other baked good, which were very good. I didn't try the coffee or breakfast baked goods, but they looked tempting. There is a... More

We were in Lunenburg the day after Tropical Storm Arthur came through and a lot of the restaurants (and our hotel!) had lost power. I have to thank Arthur because we would probably have just had breakfast in the place beside our inn. Instead, we walked around looking for something to eat on a Sunday morning. We were just in... The baking is beautiful. The lunches look good, but I have never had a lunch there so can't say for certain. However, the draw backs are the following: 1) The cafe has very limited seating. If you manage to get a seat, it is very close to everyone else so there is absolutely no privacy for conversation. The ceilings are... More

We went in here on a recent visit to Lunenberg. We had awesome lobster rolls and a large coffee. Just what we needed to warm us up. We had planned on a cake but the rolls were so big and filling we did not have room left. Seating is limited here, but get a take away if it is full,... More

Had coffee and a cake at this cafe. Friendly staff. Prices a little more than Tim Hortons but the food is well worth the price. Good atmosphere. Clean and comfy. Would recommend to others visiting in Lunenburg.

Enjoy going every time I am in Lunenburg. Lots of sweets, pastries, cheesecakes, etc. to try. Many different choices of coffees and teas to try too. Seating is limited but quite quaint. There is seating outside which is beautiful on a warm summer day.
