A bright and modern Pub and Restaurant right on the edge of the Fraser River. The lower mainland has no better Fraser River pub location than this!! While all seats afford some river views be sure to check out the deck over looking the water. This is a long term favourite place for food and drink. Enjoyed a bottle of... More

It was our fist time at Kingfisher and we were pleasantly surprised! We were looking for a patio on a warm night and water view on the river was a plus. The menu was varied and the food was ok. Service was courteous. The chairs were not the most comfortable on the patio and once in a while you get... More

This riverside pub is a very well-kept secret - most people drive right past it without even realizing that it's there, because it's off the highway and there are no signs at all on the highway. My wife and I decided to give it a try after stumbling across it during a web search for area pubs. The fact that... More

Went with a large group of people for applies and a drink. Very disappointing. Food was overpriced and SMALL! The poutine was the worst. $10 for a tiny bowl (seriously, how can you go wrong with fries)?? Bland..onion rings were bland as well. You would think the server would have noticed we hardly touched the food, but didn't even bother... More

The ambience and the view is fantastic, however the food is just average. Initially when one views the menu, there appear to be some great pairings. "Argentinean prawns" and Chimichuri sauce for example. The prawns were overcooked and not peeled properly, and the sauce was boring - and since it's quite an easy sauce to make, that's just sad that... More

Location on the muddy Fraser River is fine. Enjoyed the great sounds of the Blues from longtime Vancouver muso & founder of Powder Blues Band. Fried spuds were the only part of the extensive menu our group found palatable. Burger average at best. Prices are not cheap vis a vis quality in our experience

It is a lovely location overlooking the Fraser River, with a wide veranda for outdoor service as well as lots of indoor seating. The views are spectacular. The food is fresh and well presented, with seafood as its specialty. The half salad plus a mixed seafood topping was generous for lunch. Price for each including tip? $20. The menu is... More

Great location on the river, nice view, however the service and food left a lot to be desired, would not go back.

My family has eaten at the Kingfisher several times now and the food is very good. Good menu selection and medium prices. Nice location on the river and the decor is modern. Service is usually pretty good, but once we had slow service when there was hardly anybody in the place. Funny how that works.

I enjoy going there watching the sun sets with my wife and having a Back hand of god stout and their meat loaf. We have also enjoyed there wine tasting nights and love the bands they have brought in.
