We have eaten at this restaurant now called "Taj BOMBAY Restaurant" a number of times over the past few years and tonight for the first time at its new location since Dec/13 - #1, 11968 - 223rd St., Maple Ridge, B.C. Phone: (604) 476-2228. This is the best East Indian food restaurant that we have ever eaten at, bar none... More

I often stop by for the 1.50/2 samosas take out deal. I buy eight, and just bring them home to snack on for the rest of the week. The buffet is very good too, I can't get enough. It's always nearly empty inside, and I don't know why. They stay in business though, and that's what counts! PS, Sweets are... More

We were here 2-3 years ago and have just revisited with friends who quite love this place. It has improved in flavor, was delicious and it's still quite as rich as we remember. While the portions appear small it fed the 4 adults adequately and we were given fresh naan, fresh papadums and some pickled veggies. Prices are reasonable and... More

The server was very kind and the food was great. I liked how it was served as a buffet style. The server went as far as to bring out fresh Naan for us to our table too :)

Not the first time my family and I have been here, this little out of the way Indian restaurant in Maple Ridge is comfortably appointed with nice atmosphere. The menu is fairly extensive and the food is flavourful. They have a couple of small TV's that usually run a Bollywood movie, and the service is excellent - the staff are... More

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The menu is extensive and the food is always fresh and tasty (include the eggplant dish in your selections, definitely). Service is laid back, but respectful, and the atmosphere is quiet, relaxing and informal. And that's just fine. Kudos!

The waiter was very very miserable and rude. We weren't offered drinks other than water and he didn't even return to top up my drink up when he ran out of water in the jug. We ordered the vegetable samosas and aloo tikki which was basically just mashed potato and chickpea sauce. Then, I, myself, ordered the Butter Chicken which,... More

I've eatten at a number of Indian restaurants all over Vancouver - including some of the most 'popular' 'high end' Indian restaurants, and the Bombay is hands down the BEST Indian food I've ever had. The food is always fresh, piping hot and incredibly, incredibly delicious. It is authentic and unbelievable. What I have never been able to understand is... More
