Great spot for fondue & raclette

Though the smell was a little off-putting as we entered the restaurant (cheese can be stinky!), we LOVED our dining experience. It was so unique! We had three kids between ages 4-10 who loved it, as well. We had the raclette and broth fondue. Everything was delicious and the staff was awesome. They... read more

We went last Sat. Had the raclette, one fondue in broth, and the hot grill cooking. Very fun and very good. Service was excellent, sauces great. Our 10 year old grandson wants a fondue pot for Christmas. When we first walked in there was a strong smell, it must have been the cheese. They might want to air the restaurant... More

Intimate setting for this fun fondue dinner. Reservations a must. The food was fun, the salad was exactly what I enjoy: dark leafy greens, the cheese fondue was pungent and the novelty of cooking our own seafood and steak at the table was delicious. If you can leave your jackets at the room--do so. Our jackets and clothes smelled like... More

Liked the fondue. Next time would try the raclette. Very busy, but well run. May come out smelling like cheese...

Okay at first we were surprised this was fondue because we made reservations and we were starving and we hd no idea. The food ( we chose the chicken and beef ) was served in a pretty manner and you are told to dip your chicken into the buttermilk and then the coated mixture and then cook it at the... More

Fondue is such a fun food experience. At La Savoie we had the Raclette and the classic beef fondue cooked in oil with all the sauces, potatoes, bread, etc. The food was very tasty and everybody was entertained, specially our teens. One thing to remember is that you will be smelling like cheese when you leave the restaurant, so a... More

Had dinner at La Savoie last week. Portions of beef and shrimp are too small. We were two couples that paid a bill of more than 300 and left hungry. Plus be prepared to throw away your clothes as they will stink after dining there. Would not recommend. It is the typical tourist trap.

I am French and I love fondue and raclette! This place does it right and it tastes so good! Make sure to make a reservation, they fill up fast! (On the pricey side for 2 grad students.... but raclette usually is!)

Went with my friend and his two daughters to eat Raclette. Good reviews brought us here, plus a big hunger after a day of skiing. First impressions are good: immediate attention to us; small cozy place. Even though there are a number of different fondues and grill options, we all decided on Raclette. First, the hardware shows up and is... More

I love cheese, melted cheese even more. Some friends brought us in beautiful Mont Tremblant, about 75 minutes north of Montreal. And he reserved a La Savoie. We were 5 adults and 4 children 6-12 years of age. The service is great. They immediately suggest us the raclette and brought tonthe table half wheel of cheese with a heater and... More
