Sign on the door says closed for renovations but nothing going on inside. Sadly, it does not look like it will re-open soon.

The food was quite tasty - with the exception of the fried rice which tasted odd and should be avoided. I did not find the Sushi to be exceptionally overpriced. Nothing is priced quite as it should be in the pedestrian village, Yamada did not seem any more out of whack than anyplace else. Adult drinks seemed a little pricey... More

Food was ok but not great. I eat sushi at least once per week and this would not warrant a return trip. The amount of food you get for the price is outlandish. A sushi roll consisting of 4 pieces for $9.00. The seared tuna consisted of one small piece for $39.00 I eat at pricey restaurants frequently and look... More

We went as a group of six and because it was not my choice to eat here I did not read the reviews. I must say that the most recent reviews surprised me because we had an amazing meal. Our waiter was great, the service was great and the food came quickly. I ordered the duck as an entree and... More

Yamada is off the main drag in the village but well worth looking for. Lots of places in the village are very expensive but only a few are worth the cost and Yamada is one of them. Lots of Sushi options and a good selection of kids meals. Also reccomend Cocco Pazzo and Raclette - the Fondue Place

10. 7 p.m. We (party of 2) enter the restaurant. While the staff was pleasant, and the restaurant was not crowded (12-15 guests total), they sat us an awkward table that should be reserved for an ‘at capacity’ crowd. 9. 7:20 p.m.. Staff approaches the table to offer menus 8. Point Number 9 above (menus) did not include water, or... More

We stumbled upon what seemed to be a cozy sushi restaurant. After waiting a good 10 to 15 minutes for a waiter to arrive at our table (it wasn't crowded) we finally ordered. We waited another half hour for my friend's soup to arrive. It was luke warm. Finally, he got someone's attention to warm it up. It came back... More

Wish I had read the recent reviews before we ate here on our first night back at the Westin. What a disappointment; expensive but tasty food, lacklustre service. Having eaten here before and being familiar with the Westin I expect better. Orders of two dishes were completely missed despite us writing down the preferred order. Huff to have them replaced.... The food was really awful. One of the waiters had an attitude and the other one kept bringing food we didn't order. It was expensive, and definitely didn't worth it.
