Great Food & Cooking experience

While visiting Mon Tremblant, we decided to visit unusual eateries. Since we never tried stone cooking, the family made a decision to try it. When we arrived we were promptly greeted. Waiter explained the menu. We made a decision of trying three hot stone plates (2 adult + 1 child). A happy 8 year... read more

Its a lovely restaurant that offers excellent choice. For a couple, I highly recommend sharing an appetizer and and one lava stone entree.

Valentine’s day fell on a Saturday so the restaurant was doubly busy. Despite this, service was excellent. The meal was wonderful - we had dinner on a hot rock which was super tasty. The soup beforehand was delicious as was the salad. Dessert was as sinfully delicious chocolate cake with orange sauce and creme anglaise. The ambience was great -not... More

The fully prepared menus sounded so interesting but we went with the plain foods that you cook on a hot stone at the table. At first we were hesitant but that seemed to be the thing to do when we looked around at the other diners. Glad we did it. The food was great. The ambiance was quaint. Would still... More

The food was excellent. We both had the "game" plate and the quality and cut of the meat was superb. Their wine list was quite nice. Once my horribly pronounced French was spoken the rest of our meal was gratefully served in English. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My family and I ate at C'est la Vie while visiting Mont Temblant over the Christmas Holidays. My family of 4 all ordered the surf and turf cooking stone dinner. We all devoured every bite. My 9 year old son who loves to cook had so much fun cooking his meal. This was one of our favorite meals while visiting... More

A great dining experience. Staff was very attentive and informative. All food was delicious. The ostrich on the hot stone was exceptional.

Don't bother even if you like hot rock cooking. This is a miserable place run by people who could really care less. Made reservations beginning mid-October for 10 people, we then added 4 more, for Christmas Eve for 7 PM. Arrived at 7 sharp and were shown to our table in between a wall and a railing and could barely... More

Mister Rares, I am really saddened that you did not appreciate your visit to our restaurant the day before Christmas. In fact, you blame us for not having installed you in the middle of our dining room. When you called up for reserved for the day before Christmas, we had already no more enough places to sit 10 people on... More

We came back (Drove from Montreal and back after the meal) to have a meal during the holiday season at "C'est la Vie". The restaurant was packed (for good reasons) and as usual the service and the meal were second to none. I could go on and on about the meal and the outstanding service but I would only repeat... We lucked out as they had room upstairs for our group of 7 when other nearby restaurants did not have space; 2 upstairs rooms are very different size and we were in a larger one. It felt very cozy and lighting was just right so dinner felt like a family event in someone's house. The waiter spoke good English and... More
