Last Saturday Aug 22 dinner for 2 at 7:30pm. Waited 15 minutes before anyone approached the hostess stand to seat us. 15 minutes for waiter to take drinks. And then the disaster started. Ordered off the menu of the day. After waiting a full hour with nothing served we asked about our salads. 10 minutes later the waiter returned and... More

I haven't been to the Pilsen in two years and after going last week, I remember why! It's terrible. The food was bad and took forever, the kitchen messed up the orders twice. We have a 1 year old with us and it took 2.5 hours from start to finish.... But thanks for the free iced tea! It was expensive... More

Very costly, out of almost all food we wanted, they were out of smoked salmon, out of stout beer, out of duplings. Got in at 7:30 and got our food cold at 9:30, the bread that was served was warm on the outside but still frozen in the inside. Had to ask twice to get moved inside since food was... More

The setting was scenic. We ate outdoors on the deck of the pub. The food was acceptable, but little more. The service was good. The price was acceptable, maybe less. Afterwards we wandered over to the lakefront gazebo for a delightful concert. Wish the food had been as good as the music.

North Hatley is a gem of a spot. A real jewel at the juncture of Lac Massawippi and the St. Francis River. The Pilsen is right at the juncture which is also right on the cycling trail to/from Sherbrooke. The night I went I rode my bike to the pub--an easy 15 K from my place in Lennoxville. The Pilsen's... We regularly go to the Pilsen for family gathering. The food is fare, they have a good beer selection and the family loves their desserts. On few occasions I have tried their “special of the day”, frankly don’t. Stick with the regular menu.

To be honest the overall look of the Pilson did not attract us. We sat at the bar for a drink and have to say that the staff worked extremely hard. We got to admire them after sitting a good half hour!! You have a dedicated hard working team. Not keen on fattening fast food but lots of people are.
