After a long drive my son & I needed a relaxing spot for lunch. The Pilsen was just opening its doors. The lunch menu had a good selection. I had very good french onion soup and hand-made chips ; my son had an excellent panini. We had a locally brewed beer - Massawippi Red - which was good. Very good... More

The Pilsen Pub is a decent option for lunch. The food is fine but not like some of the great pub food you might get elsewhere at all. If you want a quick bite or you want to linger over a pint and are happy enough with nachos or an ok burger - then this is a fine place to... More

We've been visiting this spot for decades. The location is absolutely superb and in the summer the outside deck area overlooking the waterway to the main lake is delightful--ducks, other birds, sometimes mink. The upstairs entrance passes by a large restaurant fully set, yet to date I've never seen it used, then you descend down stairs to the cosy bricked/stone... More

We ate at this restaurant 2 times and both refições the food was delicious. The amount of waiters is little movement to the site, and therefore there is a delay in treatment, but nothing major. The beer served is of good quality and the attendants were polite

I admit that as a Montrealer I am spoiled by good service - fast, efficient and friendly almost without exception. I am prepared to make allowances outside of Montreal, but after waiting for 30 minutes to get in the 'while you wait' drinks order, and getting no further than glasses of water, we walked out and went to the Saveurs... The pub handled a group of 24 for dinner. A reservation was made and tables were set up as requested. The place was busy, so service suffered a bit. Everyone enjoyed their food. Nice location on river and lake.

Lovely scenic setting and serving very good food (we appreciated the breast of duck and the roasted vegetable lasagne) but dreadfully slow and inattentive service and extremely noisy for inside dining. Would only recommend for outdoor dining along with lots of time to spare!

This was a great venue for the wedding reception we attended. Staff was accommodating to the wedding planners.

We arrived for a late dinner just a few minutes before they closed the kitchen, yet they still accommodated us. Our group of four enjoyed our orders: Muscles; lank steak & pork ribs - all were satisfied with the quality. Good selection of wines as well

I hadn't eaten here since the Peloquin family sold it years ago. I grew up going here and mostly enjoying the pub. A bunch of us old townies gathered on the front terrace to catch up. I must admit that the menu had lots of choices. I had the meat and cheese platter which was very good. I saw that... More
