This restaurant used to be in Ste-Adèle, and it was a small exclusive place. The husband is the chef, and the wife is the sommelier/buyer/hostess. The food, Italian fusion, is great, and will always surprise you. However, once they moved to St-Sauveur, to a bigger and more elegant place, we thought the place lost its special je ne sais quoi.... We were faced with the choice of where to eat in the Laurentians and our Host chose Bistro A Vino in St Sauveur. There were 4 of us and we all agreed that it was a brilliant choice. The restaurant is designed to be very chic with billowing off-white curtains, taupe chairs, and cream walls with wonderful splashes of red in... More

We had a great supper and Bistro a Vino. Enjoyed fine dining and well worth the money. Well worth a visit. Every thing we tried was different and very tasty.

This restaurant is a labor of love for the owners - he is the chef and she is the sommelier. The food was great, the private importation wine was superb and the experience (country chic) added to the enjoyment of the evening. There are a lot of tourist trap restaurants in St-Sauveur, but this is not one of them. It's... More

We had an excellent time at Bistro a Vino, they seem to change the ``table d`hote`` daily. Been 4, we tried 4 different starters (Calmars grilles, Creme brule au Foie Gras, Carpaccio de boeuf & Avocat au crabe) and main courses (Risoto a la joue de Boeuf, Carre d'agneau du Quebec, Bavette de Bison & Carre de Sanglier ). Please... More

Bistro a Vino just opened in St-Sauveur, Quebec, in the location previously occupied by Bleue Maison restaurant (rue de la Gare). (Bleue Maison was very good when it opened, but then changed chef and quality declined; property owner closed the restaurant and has now leased the premises to Chantal and Tony, owners of Bistro a Vino in Ste-Adele....which they have... One of the best meal I had in a long time. So refreshing from the so-so Ottawa restaurants. Food is perfect, the veal and sirloin beef, cooked to perfection. Service is top-notch. After this wonderful experience this is a no-brainer for me in the Laurentide region. Expect 150$ for full meal with wine for 2. Can be pricey but at... More
