Just had breakfast here (it's served all day long too) and it was terrific. Large portions and very yummy! Service was good and quick. Ordered pancakes for my six year old and they were massive! She could only eat 1/2 of one. And normally she eats 4-6 med sized ones. Home fries were terrific and home made. French toast meal... More

Like the title says I was very pleased with the ribs. They have a luncheon special each day. The breakfast is famous. They don't serve frozen fries unless you ask for them. They make there own fries from scratch each day. The new owner of a couple of years has kept the diners reputation intact and and added positively to... More

We were glad we stopped here for lunch. The waiter was friendly and efficient, the menu was varied and prices were reasonable. They offer endless fries, which is a good option for hungry people. :). We all ordered different items and they were all delicious. The fish with their own award winning batter was very good, homemade fries, gravy, yum.... More

This was maybe the friendliest service we've had. The waitress was just darling, the food was good, and even though the log cabin looked pretty rustic on the outside, it was nice and clean inside.

Went to several other restaurants, but they were closed on a Sunday, stopped here because it looked like it would have good local food, and that is what we found. Asked folks leaving how the food was and they raved about the scallops they had, claiming they were plentiful and tasty. We tried their seafood chowder and found it better... More

This is not fine dining. but, if you are eating in Woodstock, this place has a wide range of offers. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I had a burger and wife had seafood chowder. Both were nice. We got there at 5:15. By the time we left, there were 10 people waiting for tables. Most appeared to be... More

If you want the taste of grease and nothing else in the back of your throat, then eat here. The batter on the fish was thick as a pancake. Won't be ever eating here again!

Don't go here if you are avoiding sugar, fat and salt. Helpings were generous. I would have liked a few healthier options. For example, whole wheat buns, some vegetables as a substitution for French fries.

Needed a "hometown" lunch spot so a co worker suggested the Log Cabin. Thankful he did! This place doesn't look like much from outside but looks are deceiving! Great friendly staff was fast. We ordered 2 orders of fried clams, 8 oz was plenty, and my daughter had 1 piece of fish and chips. They boast all you can eat... More

The log cabin has delicious breakfast. The homemade brown bread toast is sweet, fresh and thick cut. It comes with pan fried or deep fried potatoes, eggs, ham/bacon or sausage, all for around $8. Thursday night wing night is also popular with the locals. The staff are friendly and very service oriented. The only down side is the atmosphere. It... More
