My wife takes the lobster rolls, I take the fish n chips. Best ever. Theres actual lobster claws in the rolls an the fish are fresh hand made ones. Just awesome. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. The prices are more than reasonable.

Friend told me when they visited Edmundston they are here and the lobster roll was awesome. I was in town and had to check it out. Do not be afraid that it does not look like much from outside...and that you have to go up to order...the lobster roll was excellent. Very very good. 2 for $10.99 and worth every... More

There is only one reason to eat here. The lobster rolls are packed with lobster. No filler, no radishes, no coleslaw, just lobster meat. As a bonus, the regular order of french fries feeds two people and they are crisp, not limp. The decor is minimal, so don't dress up and bring your own bib if you're sloppy. There are... More

We visited this restaurant three years ago based on the recommendation from the NB Tourist Information. It was excellent back then. On our trip to Nova Scotia this August, we stopped by twice as it has the best seafood chowder we have ever had -- chunks of lobsters, scallops and fish. We also had their fish and chips and they... Rough and limited menu. I was looking for a proper seafood restaurant. Many raved about the lobster rolls but I found them tasteless.

Husband and I saw an ad for Pirate de la Mer and decided to go for dinner. We noticed the prices $6.50 for one lobster roll and $10.99 for two. We figured that the lobster rolls must be quite small for the price so we both ordered 2 lobster rolls. Was almost embarrassed when our food came out since the... More

My husband and I came in here on 8-8-14 for a late lunch. My husband ordered the fish sandwich and fries. I ordered the crab ragues and fish and fries. 2 drinks. This is a fast food type place and one we wont return to again. The crab and cream cheese are Nothing like the ones in America. 5 for... More

Edmundston was our first stop on our trip to the Maritimes, and we ate at Pirate De La Mer the first night. And we ate there the second night. And we would have eaten there on our return trip if we weren't pressed for time. Here's the thing: on the long, long drive all the way through NB, NS and... More

this is our first time in Edmunston - checked into our hotel after a long day on the road from PEI. Feeling pretty grumpy. thought we'd check this place out. Are we glad we did! I had the lobster roll / crab roll combo and my husband had the fish and chips. both were excellent - but the thing which... More
