Decided to try a meal at Lizard Creek Lodge after hearing that they have a new chef and menu. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We shared short rib poutine made with sweet potato fries and a caprese salad with prawns. We were given tasty warm bread to soak up the drippings. Delicious. Great service, friendly and professional. Looking forward to trying... More

We were staying at Lizard Creek and had avoided the restaurant - we weren't sold on the limited menu. But on our last night in Fernie we decided to stay in and try Lizard Creek Lodge. WOW!!!! The waitress told us they had a brand new chef this year and he was amazing. My friends and I all tried one... More

We arrived around 9:30 pm on a weekday to have some drinks and appetizers. We ordered the scallops and an order of chicken wings. Prices were marked on the menu, but not the portion amounts. For $18 we got 2 scallops! Not kidding. They were good, but not worth $18. My husband and I each had 1. Service was good... More

We used this restaurant more than once and experienced rather varied service levels. At one occasion we were served rather fast whilst at another occasion we had to go and ask for service. The staff seemed disorganized at times. The food was great and well presented. The atmosphere is good and makes for great long conversations.

Great food, nice proportions, friendly staff. We were allowed to eat outside of the dining room to keep it more informal with our boys who are 4 and 7.

We confirmed by phone and email with Aileen in Nov. that our family of 7 were coming for dinner Christmas day. We show up on time and no record at all. Luckily the place was half empty. Still took 20 minutes to find us a table. No apology or any attempt at service recovery. Food wasn't bad. Staff were disorganized... More

We were seated at one of the couch areas in the restaurant beside the fire. It was cozy and had a nice atmosphere. However, this was altered somewhat with people walking right past us in bathing suits & robes heading to the hot tub. We all ordered lamb & steak and they were cooked perfectly and tasted great. The wine... More

We've been to Lizard Creek Lodge a number of times in the past and had really good lunches while skiing. The great menus, the sofas, the staff, the huge log fire roaring in the middle of the room and the sense of luxury made it difficult to leave, and easy to recommend. Unfortunately the standards seem to have slipped this... More

Since RCR has taken over the once remarkable Santa brunch/breakfast is now disgusting. The price went up $10 and there was nothing good to eat, No sea food at all no nothing!!!! We would of been better off at Smittys. I promise we will never step foot in that building ever again.

Large lounge with open fire comfortable couches, and great view of the slopes. Perfect place to take a rest, a snack and a beer. Right opposite Elk Chair.
