Description: Welcome to the Bridge Bistro. We are an independent, locally owned...
Welcome to the Bridge Bistro. We are an independent, locally owned restaurant, located on the highway and along the Elk River, with the most amazing views overlooking the beautiful Lizard Range. We are open Sunday to Tuesday from 11 am until 9 pm and Wednesday to Saturday 11 am until 10 pm serving breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner, drinks and desserts. We just had major renovations done, and feel confident that you will appreciate the new atmosphere we have created. Our menu features the regular favorites, such as pizza, quesadilla and burger, but we also take pride in preparing more different meals, such as bison short ribs, elk meat balls, vegetarian risottos. The chef prepares many different specials and we have a great dessert maker in our kitchen staff line up. We look forward serving you.

good food, nice location by the river, with patio

I had duck tacos, which were self assembly. A nice medley of shredded vegetables with succulent duck, and what appeared to be homemade soft tacos. Very tasty, accompanied by a local IPA beer.

Stopped in for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. Smelled delicious when you enter, and the food did not disappoint. Had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich, decent sized sandwich with a side of fries. Service was friendly and efficient. On a warm day it looks like the patio would be fantastic.

We travelled 12 hrs and just needed a quick tastey meal. The Bridge did the trick. They have a large menu selection. In the summer, the patron is large and lost of flowers.

I had the soup & sandwich special, chicken curry noodle soup which was mild hottness and also a bit sweet, very tasty and the sandwich was a turkey lettuce tomatoe on a multigrain bun with a mustard mayo, very delicious. And i drank a water & a pop. The atmospher was great, relaxing and the music easy listening, soft pop... More

Wow, this place was very nicely decorated. Hopefully the exterior will be next ;) We came for the gluten-free brownie which was advertised on their online menu, but we were told they haven't updated that menu in years. She went through all of my options on the menu (which were plentiful), but it's more helpful to have symbols on a... More

Lovely open & bright eating area, with outside deck area as well. Small but interesting menu, reasonable prices. Comfy atmosphere to hang out with friends or work on your laptop over a tasty coffee.

I may have got it'sd previous name wrong - if so , I apologise. I think it is better than then but not much. A bit warmer - nice welcome from the servers, good choice of beers, decent menu. But I don't see eye to eye with the chef. His idea of what sauces go with what meat isn't the... More

Decided to give the Bridge Bistro another try this year. We were underwhelmed last year as I found the food bland, the service slow and the prices out of touch with the offerings. Well things have changed drastically. Our server was friendly, efficient and well acquainted with the menu and was able to offer suggestions which proved to be accurate.... More

Lovely ambiance and atmosphere, probably the nicest restaurant I have been to in Fernie in terms of looks. But the service was incredibly slow for a relatively empty restaurant (took >20 mins just for our drink orders to be taken) and then when our meals were served about an hour later, the Ahi Tuna Tacos that I ordered had two...
