Had lunch here over the long weekend. Took a LONG time to get served and get our food. Food was average. Luckily the weather was nice and we were sat out on the patio..

Staying in Fernie and we went out for dinner and Northern was our stop. Place was quiet and they were setting up for dinner and the late shift so we had our pick of seats. Our server was nice and informative when we asked a couple of questions. Their signature burger "The Northern" wasn't anything special but the Ponchos were... More

We wanted to eat elsewhere but they were full, had a waiting list, and we had a time constraint, so we walked down the street to Northern. It has a nice vibe, the servers were friendly and there were people eating there; we thought we'd go in. We were promptly greeted and asked for our drink order. I had the... More

Very comfortable, nicely decorated pub, with friendly servers. But the food we ordered (Thai-style salad, beet with goat cheese salad) were not seasoned very well - perhaps people in the town of Fernie don't eat salt!?! Tasty Fernie beers though!

Have eaten here a couple of times and found the wings and burgers to be quite good, everything else seems somewhat plain. The place is small and can get quite crowded. Service was good.

Was warned before coming here, but thought we would give it a try anyway. Worst meal ever. Can I just say one thing, it's not necessary to dump salt all over a meal for seasoning. My steak was so incredibly salty I could barely eat it. The fries were none the better. My partner didn't finish his meal due to... More

Took over an hour to get our food even although there were a few people in restaurant.. Their excuse was that the computer was not working and the kitchen did not get our order. We ordered steak sandwiches and the meat was fatty and very though. Clearly not grade A meat. Very disappointing meal

Visited for burger and beer. Not as good as last couple of years. Burger was decidedly average and overcooked and plate seemed to be missing something. Didn't it used to have a dish of beans or something with it? Was ok but that's the best I could say. Atmosphere of bar was busy and lively enough staff seemed friendly. In... More

This is the worst pub I've ever been in for service and food. Well, what food? With no service, how can one even get food? When the food showed up after an hour and a half it was cold and we complained. We were told, by an extremely rude server, to never come back there again. Not a problem. I... More
