Best Burger in Fernie!

The Northern is a Tuesday favourite where their $10 Burger and Beer special can't be beat. Combine the best burger in town with a pint of beer from the Fernie Brewing Company and you'll be an instant local. And my personal recommendation, upgrade the fries to Poutine!

We looked online for where to eat in Fernie. We were drawn to this place because of the emphasis on local beer and wine. We went on a very busy night in December but the hostess was good about letting us know how long our wait would be and helping us find a seat at the bar to wait for... More

I ate dinner here and thought the food was very good. I had a burger with caesar salad and sweet potato fries. I think the sweet potato fries were the best part and they looked to be very popular in the restaurant. The burger I had was good as well. The caesar salad wasn't too exciting. At $18 for a... More

Very friendly, not to much choices on food. They offer local brewed beer. Comfy seats. Great for big parties

It's a fun place. Met a bunch of local and partied most of the night with them. The beer is cold . The staff was just great. Went bar hopping with them after their shift. Had the pulled pork nachos and they where good but not the raves the staff said. Place was very busy and I would return again.... More

The street patio like other Fernie Main Street restaurants is ok but too small and tight. We had a large group so went inside, with no A/C it was blazing hot. Not very busy inside but service was great, good beer selection and Tues special of beer and burger for $10 was a good deal, great burger!

If you are in no hurry. This is your place. Food was good. Just like other reviews. It took a while, we had nothing, but time so we had no issue. However if you are in any type of hurry not your place.

Waited over an hour for chicken wings and 2 steak sandwiches after a long drive. Not a good place for kids after a long day!

The Northern in a mainstay in Fernie for music, drinks, and dancing. Right in the middle of main street downtown in a historic old brick building - easy to find.
