Hot chocolate of your dreams!

Best hot chocolate I've ever had! Your choice of milk or dark chocolate. I chose the milk chocolate, and I must admit, I was very much surprised when it was served in a large cappuccino cup! Soooo much chocolate yummyness all in one cup! The taste was simply velvety smooth and devine - a must for... read more

On a friend's recommendation, we stopped here to try the chocolate. Each of our four young kids chose a bar while my husband and I each had a Mayan (spiced) Mocha (coffee). The staff were tremendously helpful and knowledgeable, so don't hesitate to ask questions. The chocolates (Stocking, Cappuccino, Maple) were excellent with one exception: Coconut Lime. Credit to the... More

Delicious dark chocolate hot coco, made from 70% dark chocolate, and I have it every time I visit. The local made chocolate bars are amazing and sooo many different varieties to choose from, Purdy's move aside. It's about $7 a bar, and it's a great treat to have. The service is great, they are always friendly. You can watch them... More

I was expecting so much more from this place considering all the good reviews. But is place literally only sells coffee and chocolate, and the chocolate is only in bars, they have some cool and interesting favors, but I was surprised at the lack of variety in their product.

We consider ourselves chocolate aficionados. For hubby it's a science; for me an addiction. Although we live in Vancouver and have tried product from many purveyors who claim to produce the best chocolate, we only buy from Chocolate Arts on West 3rd. However, many moons ago we read a glowing review about Beanpod Chocolate in Fernie, and we finally included... More

We loved Beanpod Chocolate so much we brought plenty home! This place has wonderful chocolates that are so multi-layered in taste and texture that it's like a wine tasting. The owner also recommended what wine would go best with which chocolates when we got home. We also enjoyed a cup of the hot chocolate. The velvet sofas and European feel... More

The best cup of espresso you'll ever have. It was creamy and smooth without a trace of bitterness. The chocolate was the same.

I have been to this store dozens of times, and I am still shocked each time that a place of this calibre can exist in a small town like Fernie. The chocolate is unique - hand prepared from scratch, and infused with inventive flavouring. Half of the ample floor space is dedicated to the stone grinders and other machinery required... More

It is misleading that Beanpod Chocolate is listed under Fernie restaurants as it is actually a coffee and chocolate shop. The chocolate is excellent. We wanted to buy ground coffee to take with us to our condo, but they only had the whole beans and were not able to grind it for us.
