Proper Pies

Their pies are lovely, and this is the only place in Fernie for the Brits and Aussies to get their pie fix! The mushroom pie is my fav but the tomato, cheese, and onion is also worth a mention! The fresh sourdough here is amazing - paired with a fresh homemade soup, makes for a yum lunch! The... read more

We went here for salad and pizza, we were a party of 6. The staff were very accommodating, very attentive to our requests and the meal was amazing. Among many dishes that this resturant prepares there pizza was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend this resturant hands down, it's fun, awesome bakery, right down town. Would recommend this location and would definitly... More

Absolutely delicious food, both their bakery and their brunch! Indulged in freshly baked cinnamon buns and Americano's. The toast was fresh and chewy, and the restaurant was spacious was excellent service. If you are a carb lover- don't miss out!

We eat here a fair bit but really started a "tradition" last year by booking the whole place for the first seating of New Years dinner. One big table for kids and one for the adults. The food is awesome as always and the staff bend over backwards for everyone who attends.

Thursday night pasta special was a great choice - freshly made, tasty sauce, set off nicely by almonds and fresh spinach and, at $15, good value with a beer included. Garlic pizza showed they can do pizza bases too. Not the quickest service but worth waiting for, and nice environment to wait in. Altogether a good find, would definitely go... More

Get in early if you want a table. Limited seating and wonderful food make it all worthwhile. The aroma of fresh bread wafting into the street will tell you that you are in the right place. Don't miss it when you're in Fernie.

We went there for our Friday lunch. At the first arrival the staff didn't even offer us to sit at bar and wait for the table, they told us to come back 15 min later, when we came back, they told us again that it'll take another 20 min to sit and when we asked them to give us just... More

The food was ok. But It took them too long to take our order. It took them even longer to prepare the food. The table beside us had the same problem. They mentioned it to the server but instead of apologizing she started fighting them back.
