I went here because Ame su is closed. Im thankful because im hungry but at the same time I have no choice. So I ordered prawn tempura, gyoza and pork don buri. Prawn tempura is cooked right. Its crunchy but the sauce is bland. Gyoza is good when paired with the gyoza sauce. But the sauce that they gave is... More

Disclaimer: I don't like sushi. Its a seaweed thing. It seems odd then that I would love this restaurant. However, the food is consistantly excellent and the service is always good. I almost always order a Gyoza bento box, and substitute the daily sushi special for extra gyoza. Its delish! Tempura is vegetable and includes potatoes, sweet potatoes, zucchini and... More

Tokyo Sushi serves up some really tasty rolls like dynamite and the BIlly Barker. It's location is really convenient as well. I definitely recommend it as the best place to get sushi in Quesnel.

there is a server that works her that is the rudest nastiest person.. food is fine but who wants to listen to the server yell at the owner tell customers she's busy....awful....I boycott this restaurant and will only return when she works somewhere else, until theming will venture down the road to the other sushi bar where the sushi isn't... Today I was craving sushi. Big mistake. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and the spider roll. It was way overpriced. The tuna roll was mushy and gross and the spider roll fell apart and had lettuce(!) in it. Even the ginger was mushy. NOT FRESH and TERRIBLE. Yuck. NEVER AGAIN.

I ended up ordering the spicy combo which came with tuna, salmon and scallops. Or so they say, because I'm pretty sure I didn't see any scallops. The prices were decent but the portions were incredibly small compared to sushi down south. It wasn't fantastic but it wasn't horrible.

I've lived in quesnel for over 5 years now, and have been a huge fan of sushi my whole life. I could live off the stuff. However, I had never tried Tokyo till now because I feared... Well, sushi in the Cariboo? Hmm, seeing as i am used to having sushi in the lower mainland. And after finally deciding to... More

Firstly, I consider myself (rightfully or not) a sushi connoisseur. I find myself torn about how to rate Tokyo Sushi, considering it is the only place in town! Is it really fair to compare it to the sushi I've had in big cities? However, despite the fact sushi is my favourite food (BY A WIDE MARGIN), I think the fact... More

When we arrived at Quesnel we only wanted to get off the road, out of the rain, and stop moving. Eating was a necessity not an adventure. This restaurant was suggested by the motel we stayed at (nearby) and when the food arrived we realized we had struck gold. We had a BC and dynamite roll (with real crab), an... More
