Sometimes Sylvia's is a stop on the way to or from Nazko when I have to head out there for work. Other times, it's a destination itself for a motorcycle ride etc. Sylvia's has existed for many years (decades) and their menu and service hasn't changed much at all in this time. It's the only cafe for many miles. It's better than any other if you don't want to drive to Quesnel. No onions in the hash browns which may speak more about the customers (why do they put up with this!) than Sylvia. She's a hoot, btw.

Nothing fancy... just your typical road-side diner. Except it's not typical. Food's great. You can even get a turkey dinner with home-made cranberry sauce. And yes, it's real turkey. Not turkey loaf slices or anything like that. Good food, good quick service served with a smile. They also host an annual music festival! Very cool place.
