Good food

I ordered the half plate of chef salad. The salad was loaded with turkey, ham, and cheese, the half salad was huge, and it's the first time where I have more toppings than lettuce. Good food, good service, definitely will be back.

If you like a varied menu, comfortable homey atmosphere, friendly service and good food at a good price the 'Boo, as the locals call it, is the place to head to. Breakfasts are great there too! Wings nights, 1/2 price appie nights, Mug and Spud Steak specials all make for great deals on a meal.

Around 1 pm of Dec 21, I purchased 9 bottles of wine from Cariboo Hotel Liquor Store. The price of 7 bottles differed from the listed price. The staff(young girl) was hostile against my appeal and never said a word of "Sorry" while waiting. The staff was not trained at all about basic attitude toward customers.

My spouse and I decided to have a date night and come to the Cariboo for dinner. My spouse ordered the steak sandwich medium rare and I had fish and chips. His steak was done medium and his toast was more like bread than toast, salad and fries all on the same plate ..... Big no no in any restaurant/pub.... More

Great food at pub prices. Check out 1/2 price appy nights on wednesdays after 6 pm. A local favorite.

My mates and I have been going to the Cariboo for lunch for years. We always pretty much have the same things. Mine is the Reuben sandwich. Best Reuben anywhere. Steak sandwich is also a favourite. But now our group is dwindling. Now I am retiring and moving away. Will miss those Cariboo lunches with my buds.

This is one of those places you can go time after time and it's always great service great food and at a decent price. Try anything on the menu and you'll be happy with it. The service is always great. For a pub atmosphere it's probally my fav one to go to. Great food always serviced with a smile.
