Yummy food, cool atmosphere, great staff!

I have been to Savalas twice. The first time, I loved their eggs benedict. The English muffin was a bit too crispy but the egg and Hollandaise sauce was great! I also had a pina colado and enjoyed that. The staff were very personable and attentive. The second time, I had the mushroom caps which was... read more

14 of us went for dinner and everyone was very happy with their meal. Each person ordered different dishes, some ordered appies, Not a single complaint. We had a young fellow server and he was awesome. Still don't know how he kept up since he also had other tables. There was no waiting, no mistakes from the kitchen everything was... More

Service here is really wonderful and makes you feel special. They have a different buffet every week day with a great variety of the specialty food of the day....for example, Mexican day, Ukrainian day, etc. A good variety of choices are also available on the menu. Their house salad with their special house dressing is great and is served before... More

Quesnel is a historic town between Williams Lake and Prince George that hides its charms well, Savalas Steak House is one of those charms. This is steak country and steak is well represented on the menu, but also some nice Greek and Italian alternatives. I enjoyed an excellent and good value lamb souvlaki. The decor is pleasant and nicely sophisticated... More

Their breakfast is by far their best and most reasonably priced meal. Their dinners are a little too pricey, but he ambiance is very nice.

The menu in this place offers a little bit of everything. My favorite is the lemon spinach salad. It's a hearty bed of lettuce, topped with grilled chicken, sliced avocado, sliced strawberries, roasted pecans, shredded purple cabbage, shredded carrot, and sliced egg. Top it off with a lime vinaigrette dressing. Delicious! Service is good, a little slow when it's a... More

The menu had a wide variety of choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor is new. I would definitely eat here again and recommend to family and friends travelling through Quesnel.

Four adults arrived on Sat, night at 7pm for dinner. Small entrance foyer were we waited for about a minute before someone acknowledged and seated us. Shortly there after, our server, Erin, greeted us with a friendly smile. We ordered some drinks and looked through the menu. My wife asked for a gluten free menu and they had a separate... More

Passing through for work, 6 of us stopped in for dinner here. The server was friendly, personable and efficient, but the steaks themselves were mediocre, more like a fast fry steak than what one would expect from a "steakhouse". Unfortunately, Mr Mikes (just a block away) would have been a better choice for this meal.

I had the fettuccine alfredo with two skewers of prawns. My grandson had a T bone (what else satisfies a growing teen) with two skewers of prawns. My wife had a salad and our son-in-law had ribs and lasagna. The food was not excellent - the fettuccine had too much alfredo for my liking but there was not a scrap... More
