My husband & I arrived for our first visit in Quesnel & decided to wander around the town, locate a restaurant, & have a late lunch. And I do mean a late lunch! We didn't walk in to this restaurant until shortly after 2 PM, but by the time our meals arrived it was creeping up on dinner. Hubby ordered... More

Shrimp Pasta - appears the pasta was never drained. Nice atmosphere and setting, pleasant staff, terrible pasta. We didn't eat the food and ordered a pizza at Panago just around the corner. The owner talked to us when we offered compliments before the meal but when she knew there was a problem didn't come near.

The service was good but the food was poor to average. We ordered the night special which as smothered steaks. The steaks were just average. The sides were bland and not well seasoned. The Calamari we had was chewy and you could taste the batter. The one thing was good was the cocktails.

Stopped in for a late lunch and just missed the buffet (closes at 2:00pm). Immediate impression on walking in the door, clean, smaller in size and friendly staff. The buffet is located at the rear of the business but you will have to navigate table placement but building size may not permit a different configuration. Daily buffet themes and will... More

Passable food. Good service. Found kids menu was expensive. I think Mr Mikes would be a better alternative.

Had dinner here at the recommendation of a friend. Had a burger - the patty was home-made and the bun came from the bakery down the block. It was one of the best burgers I've had. The decor was nice, service ok (friendly but young waitress who didn't know the beer selections and made a goof on my order). Prices... More

Tried it again. Waiter was just a little bit over friendly, little too forward. Never even thought to even bring us water. The missus ordered an appies, calamari, and a chicken salad. I ordered veal cutlets with a garden salad. Heavily engaged in conversation and sipping our wine, the waiter shows up with two house salads. Now why would the... More

We stopped here for lunch on our cruise through Quesnel on the Easter long weekend, it was one of the only places open. We were quickly seated and served. We had heard Savala's had good greek food, although didn't find much greek items on the lunch menu. Both my husband and I ordered the only 'Greek' item, the donair. It... More

We went here for dinner the other night and I had the BBQ chicken breasts and the other fellow had seafood. Mains were ok but veggies were a bit boring. Service was good but atmosphere is lacking somewhat

I was thrilled to see vegetarian items on the menu, that is until it showed up on my table. My pasta was bland. Basically a bowl of olive oil with some sauteed mushrooms and onions...and that was it. Something a person with no culinary skills could cook. Then there was the Caesar I ordered, I had issues drinking it so... More
